These work great so I usually have them laying around. They come in handy being a nerd and helping people with their computers. Just make sure you select the to and from port correctly. They don't always work both ways, and in the past I wasn't paying attention and got the wrong ones. For example I wanted an HDMI to VGA, but accidentally bought VGA to HDMI...

I recently bought the Ankey Display Port to VGA Adapter to connect my new computer to my old VGA monitor. I was really impressed with the adapter. It was easy to use and it worked perfectly.The adapter is very simple to use. Just plug it into the DisplayPort port on your computer and the VGA port on your monitor. That's it! The adapter does the rest.I was particularly impressed with the quality of the image. The adapter was able to produce a clear and sharp image on my VGA monitor. ...they're fine.But of the 8, 2 were DOA, one lasted 15 minutes, and a final one connects, disconnects, connects dis-- it's basically DOA.Pay a bit more for the Moread ones; I haven't had one of *THOSE* go bad.

arrived broken, the plugs aren't secure, and just pushing in a cable pops the shell from the input making it impossible to use. USELESS
