Purchased for my 1944 Ford 2N. I removed the points and installed electronic ignition and it fired right up after installation.

Installed this on my 1940 9N today. I decided to check the points gap before I installed, and it was set right at .015. The overall build quality looks and feels like OEM. The bale and cap mounting hardware are very sturdy, and it utilizes a rubber gasket instead of cork. 10/10 recommend!

The distributor and coil look great. When I received it, there was of course no instructions concerning it's build. I decided to check the points gap, as it is a front facing distributor, and very hard if not impossible to see to adjust when installed. The new points were gapped correctly but when closed only touched on one side. I was very disappointed seeing this. I took the time to bend the points so it would seat correctly. If not they will burn out sooner and possibly loose the correct gap. It is upsetting to buy something new that has to be repaired before it's first installation!
