Fit my 2003 3.3 6cyl Nissan Xterra perfectly. After trying MAF, fuel pump, IAC, and testing vacuum hoses this did the trick. Just make sure to mark the exact direction the dial is pointed and that it matches when you install the new one. After it's in you can drive it away, but make sure to adjust the timing with a timing light ASAP. (Get engine to normal operating temp, turn off all electrical inside car and mare sure nothing is plugged into the 12 sockets, rev engine to 3k rpms, then turn off the car, unplug the BOTTOM harness on the TPS only, start car, rev to 3k rpms, with timing light on 1st cyl spark wire : time to the center of the pulley with timing light and then tighten the bolt on the distributor, turn off engine, connect the bottom harness on the TPS and start car. You're done!Not sure how long this will last, until I repair my factory one this is doing a great job so far :)

Pulled old distributor and set this one in EXACTLY set timing to top dead center. Engine did not want to fire off at all. Thought I may have put it in 180° out. So I pulled it and placed it back in @ 180. Still didn't start. Put Engine back to TDC. And repositioned the distributor back to TDC #1. No luck still. Pulled it back out after putting Engine back to TDC #1. Took all the guts out of this distributor and put them in my old housing. Put it back in and low and behold Engine fired right up. My conclusion is the drive gear is indexed wrong.

This part is a direct replacement piece it went in with no problems I am very satisfied with it especially since I only paid $77 with shipping and the local Auto parts stores ie AutoZone and Advanced auto wanted $245 for the oart

Vehicle was dead other brands were around $300 above, this unit was clean, built within factory spec!Installation after setting the timing at TDC, took me 2.5 mins. SUV started right up! Thank You for being affordable and reliable!

I purchased this to replace my '96 Pathfinder distributor which wouldn't start when the weather was damp or it was raining. It worked great for about a month then this morning I was going through a Hardee's drive thru to get a bit of breakfast & when I pulled up to the window the engine just cut off like I turned the ignition switch off. It wouldn't start back up. The Hardee's workers helped push it out of their drive thru.I called the mechanic who installed the distributor & he said there was no spark going to the plugs. Thankfully I still had the original distributor in the back of the vehicle. He changed it back to the original distributor right there in the parking lot & off I went.This is not a high quality part.

Hace 1 año mi camioneta Villager 2001 se Descompuso de algo de lo cual desconocÃa, gaste bastante dinero para tratar de arreglar y comprando piezas, finalmente me dijeron que era el distribuidor y pues compré uno por las inmediaciones de dónde vivo y fue una compra infructuosa ya que no era compatible, hasta que encontré esta publicación de Auto partes que menciona al rubro y decidà arriesgarme y no me arrepiento de nada, cumple con la descripción y con todo lo que dice, mi camioneta funciono luego luego y calidad muy buena, sin duda recomiendo este producto para personas que tengan el mismo problema.
