Tags are sturdy and not just flimsy plastic, that was a big concern. They will last several seasons. Enough room to write on. A black marker is included but it is a fine line marker, hard to see. We used a regular ole red colored Sharpie and it shows up much better against the white background. I can read it several rows away! After the Sharpie dries, it is water and smudge proof. Good buy and good price.

Love these! They work perfectly for putting labels on to keep track of my plants. The marker that comes with them doesn’t write on them, but a sharpie works perfect! They are a thin and mildly pliable but decently sturdy plastic, so they will last and can be used over again(wipe with alcohol & the sharpie comes right off for reuse!) They’re decently sized; I was able to put scientific name, common name, and the name I give them.

Arrived quickly, well packaged, exactly as advertised. I have a greenhouse and like to label my plants, so that visitors can share in the knowledge of plant "names". These labels are AOK, but my experience with the ink pens is nor great. They fade in a year and become unreadable in the Texas heat and sunlight. I suggest adding a mixture of "Paint Marker Pens" to your order, and maybe color-coding your plants by type, or even watering needs; great when your out of town and your next door neighbor is helping out.Dave@Texas

The ink comes off with rain or watering. I wasn't expecting that. The provided pen worked better on some of the slick surfaces of tags than others. But I wasted a huge amount of time labeling everything. Worthless! Why provide a pen that won't write well on and stay on the product?? Hopefully a sharpie will stay, if not I'll have to resort to writing on tape. The tags themselves are pretty flimsy, but seem to hold up to watering okay. I wish they were a matte plastic rather than super slick, though they probably clean up better this way. The 300 pack comes in 10 bundles of 30. I definitely wouldn't bother getting a set with their useless pen again, and I shouldn't need more of these for a while with so many on hand.

The marker wears off these almost instantly. Absolute waste of money. I'll have to rebuy from a better company.

Perfect for labeling any plants you need & also waterproof if you use a sharpie on them! Long lasting as well.
