Purchased this for my Cummins 6.7 diesel and it works perfectly. No more oil spills. Completely sealed it off with no mess. Not the cheapest one on the market but worth every penny.

After the disappointment of a different brand leaving a huge mess, I tried this one on a brand new filter. Works exactly as it should. Thread pitch is correct, threads all the way for a perfect seal. I should have bought this item to start with instead of a $6.50 version. Worth the money, great quality, and my 2 coworkers will be getting one of these aluminum plugs compared to their plastic ones. 10/10 recommended.

If you own a Vehicle that has the Filter located in a Hard Area to Remove this Tool is Essential for a No Mess / Spillage upon taking it out

Given RAM decided to put the oil filter in the worst inaccessible location this is a great tool. Once the oil filter is loose, screw this on and you can then remove the filter without spilling oil all over the place. It definitely saves from making a big oil mess on my truck as well as the floor. Use it in conjunction with oil absorbent sheets you can purchase from Amazon and you'll have no oil mess at all.
