I knew it was a longshot that my Labrador would be able to fit this bag and my hunch turned out to be true. My dog is 78 lbs, and I could not even get the velcro tabs to close around the belly or at the neck. I was able to connect the buckles below the belly, though, but it was simply not enough to keep the saddle in place and the bag circled about her torso and eventually slid down to her paws so she could walk right out of it. You can see that she is a reluctant model in the pic. Her eyes are sayin' do we have to go through this again?!! The dogs in the pictures look fairly large so I gave it a shot. BUT, I still give this five stars because the quality of the bag is great for the price and this will fit a MEDIUM sized dog, as advertised, no problem. There are 6 pockets in total, three on each side. The smaller pockets fit up to two tennis sized balls, though it is a tighter fit. The bigger pocket between the torso and the patch pockets fits quite a bit. The waste bag dispenser was not cut open on the bag I received. It looks to be positioned accurately and there is stitching to contain a cut, but I am not going to cut the bag and test it in case I return it. I was really looking forward to packing all of my pup's outdoor toys and accessories in this bag so that she can wear them on our recreational walks to her favorite workout spots instead of me! I'll be on the lookout for a larger size from this brand!

This makes my dog look like a friendly nerd, which I love. 🎒 Those pockets fit quite a lot. It's easy to put on and off and feel secure with both the large Velcro straps and the clasps.My boy is finally pulling his weight around here when we go out. He carried my carryout lunch leftovers in one pocket and my phone/keys/wallet in the other. We still had plenty of room to spare for bags, toys, treats.

This is a great little harness. The saddle bags are cool and you can pack extra poop bags maybe a water bowl some water and maybe a pouch of food, whatever you wanna pop in there that you don’t feel like carrying and your pup will take care of it for you. My dog doesn’t mind a harness is so he enjoys wearing it around.

My only real problem with this dog backpack is the sizing chart. Technically, this should fit my dog based on measurements, but it is just a bit too small, even though there is a lot of room for adjustment in the straps. His chest is 30 inches, where the sizing chart goes from 25 to 31. The neck girth is totally fine. Even though he is a large dog, he generally fits in medium sizes because of those measurements. Because of that, I cannot really check if anywhere rubs or otherwise has issues restricting movement on my shaped dog.Now, the quality of this dog backpack is pretty good. All of the stitching seems pretty secure, and the pieces all feel like they’re of a durable quality. The material also feels pretty durable, while also being of a breathable material.I really do like the reflective strips on the pockets as well. Any time you’re out and it starts getting dark, that reflection is nice to have so you can spot your dog. Additionally, I like the orange color for the same reason. It makes it a lot easier to spot your dog out in the woods.The bags are definitely big enough to hold some small essentials. Keys, smaller water bottle, the ever-important poop bags… you should have room for them all!Overall, I would recommend this dog backpack, but I would double check the sizing chart and possibly size up depending on where your dog falls.

I'm extremely pleased with this saddle bag. It's excellent quality and actually nicer than I expected. I got it for my dog for two reasons- one fun and one practical. The fun reason is for my dog to be able to carry snacks for her goat, dog, and pig friends when she visits them and "breaks bread" with them. Her "friends" require a variety of treats/snacks that won't all fit in my pockets, making it necessary to go back to the house to get appropriate treats before moving on to her next group of "friends". This saddle bag totally eliminates the back and forth because it is big enough to hold everything we need. The practical reason I got this is for when my dog and I go on our really long walks. I wouldn't really consider those walks a hike because we generally aren't gone more than a few hours, but we do cover a lot of ground through fields and wooded areas. This saddle bag is definitely big enough to hold our basic necessities during those walks. My dog seems to find this saddle bag very comfortable to wear and it fits her well. It's very roomy and the material seems really durable. My dog and I are really happy with this saddle bag so I highly recommend it.

I'm disappointed with the sizing of this dog backpack as it doesn't fit. It says 25-31in chest, but barely reaches 25in. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it seems pretty basic to me. The listing photos show this is on a larger dog, so I had high hopes. Other than the fit issue--I wish it came with extension straps to add to the buckles for more size adjustment--it seems well made and I really wish I could use it.

This dog back pack is generous in the adjustabilty and holds quite a bit. It's well constructed and easy to put on and adjust. Our model Grimm was able to play and romp with all his buddies without it sliding or interfering.For reference, Grimm is about 45-50 lbs

I have this on a 70 pound poodle mix And fits her perfectlyso far very durable sits on her comfortably and is easy to adjustrecommend attaching your lead to your dog's regular color rather than the harness where it will pull out of position I dropped one star for this concern
