Step-by-step instructions in English were easy to follow. No painting needed, minimal gluing. Pieces fit together nicely, satisfying to snap together. The sound and flame effect work as advertised! It was a fun project and looks great on the shelf.

I've been looking for the perfect book nook for a couple years, and finally found it! Super great quality materials, and everything fits perfectly. Very easy to assemble so long as you follow the directions. It took maybe a combined 3-4 hours for me over a few days, but it was an enjoyable assembly process. And the final product is an awesome book nook that looks way better than all the more cheesy ones out there. The flame projections and sound and just icing on the cake. It's awesome.

This kit has everything. All the parts and pieces are there, marked and easy to find. Instructions are precise and easy to follow. There are stickers for books but the rest is already colored and ready to snap together. Watch the positioning for each piece as some look similar and you'll want to make sure the printed sides are facing the correct way. I will absolutely buy more of the Dolphin Island kits. They are relaxing to do and enjoyable. I love the fire and crackling sounds!
