These are good economical option when your door hinges start getting stiff from normal environmental causes. If it hasn't happened for you yet, rest assured it will. These are a straightforward install and solve the hard to open door issue. My seldom used right rear was the first to have issues and when the others started to become stiffer, it was an easy call to knock this easy fix out in a couple of hours. Easier with 2 people to move doors but possible with one if you check out a video or two online. Highly recommend this kit as it comes complete with everything you need.

I have a 2024 Rubicon and the bushing tool didnt work. They may of sent me the wrong version but when I tried to push out the existing liner the tool was metal on metal. It couldnt push it after hammering it, the only thing that happened was some paint was coming off the bottom lip. The guide pins are nice. The picture shows the tool alignment (I know the door is on, but I forgot to take the picture with the door off)

I am so happy I got these. My doors were getting so hard to remove and these were quick and easy to install, and my doors are so happy and so am I! I am able to quickly get these doors on a off without the struggle of the hinges being tough to get out. I highly recommend!

I bought these to replace the factory bushings for my Jeep JK. The outer diameter is too small to fit snuggly in the holes on the Jeep body hinge. They can slide easily in and out. On the door, the inner diameter of these are too small and fit too snuggly on the door. So when you remove the door, the bushings are stuck attached to the door.

I replaced the liners on my Wrangler’s passenger side using this tool and these liners. The doors were barely functional at the point where I did the work, taking two hands to open/close them at all, and they would not open all the way. As a result, removing the outer hinge leaf then removing the liners was really difficult. The tool stood up to the job, fortunately, because it took a 4 lb sledge and heavy hits to even budge the hinges and it took nearly an hour, end to end, for each hinge, and the first one took even longer. I taped a flexible plastic cutting board to the car body to protect it from any mishits or swipes. Removing the factory liners, which were heavily corroded, required using a tool to bend the top lip of the liner inward, then using a penetrant (I used PB Blaster) before using the bushing removal tool. After finally getting old liners out, I wire-brushed the hinge barrels and wiped them with oil, inserted the new liners, put the outer hinge leaf back in place, and the doors are now as smooth as glass. The plastic liners will not hold up as long as the factory metal ones, of course (12 years, in this case), but will be a LOT easier to replace! If your doors are as bad as mine were, I suggest seriously considering having a shop do to the work. I managed, but would not want to do it again. I also suggest replacing the liners at the first HINT of any hinge sticking or drag, which should make the job much easier.
