1994 Dodge Grand Caravan. Needed two each of both the through-bushing (49439) and the cap-bushing (49440). Each package comes with a pair. I watched Youtube videos for the installation. Some were helpful. I found that removal of the linkage from the vehicle was an absolute necessity. The polymer that these bushings are made of has a high softening temperature. Boiling water is barely hot enough to soften them. I tested heating one of the old ones in the microwave oven (1200W). 20-25sec (more will destroy the bushing) softened the bushing so that I could press it into the linkage using an anchored large C-clamp and some deep sockets to straddle the bushing. I also heated the metal with boiling water so the bushing would not cool too fast as I was trying to press it into the linkage. When installed properly, the wipers work perfectly...

These are cheap - order one extra set more than you need in case you damage any if them during replacement. Fits 1994 Dodge Ram b250 van wiper arm actuators. I added a dab of wheel bearing grease inside of the cup before installing each grommet of every ball joint. This is not required but might have helped with installation and almost certainly will help reduce friction and thereby reduce wear and maintain tight operation. Install flat side first and cup-to-ball-joint side second. Using a C clamp and an appropriately sized socket to install flat side was a great tip by another reviewer. I also used adjustable pliers (like Amazon ASIN item B09B77GZMR) to install. Install as much as you can outside of the vehicle as it will be easier than doing it in the cramped cowl area. The final installation was completed by me and a friend working together to leverage the actuator arms and flex the grommets onto the ball joints of the motor arm and wiper swivel arms while seesawing or rocking it back and forth while prying everything into position. This was not a straight forward job. It required a little ingenuity and creativity. It took about 1 hour from start to finish including removing the wipers, cowl, disassembly and reassembly of the actuator arms and grommets and putting everything back together. Remember to function test the wipers before reassembly. Keep your hands and tools away from moving parts before you test the wipers - those arms look like they would cause significant injuries. I did not heat up the grommets or microwave them before installing like some have suggested. I wouldn't recommend doing that myself unless it's freezing outside. I did this job on a warm day but using the right tools and techniques made the job go smoothly. These are designed to have a tight fitment. If you do heat them up just be careful not to overdo it. Remember, order an extra set just in case something goes wrong.

Bushing kit fit both my 1988 Dakota Long Bed & 1992 Dakota perfectly. Need bushing kit 49439 also. I buy two each of these kits in case I mess a bushing up I'll have it already, very soft plastic here. Companies just won't sell all these bushings in one kit form, so - * for that one. Trust those folks saying It's a much easier fix removing the entire linkage setup here because it is in fact much easier to do so. Done this job both ways several times.Removing wiper arms note. Be sure you "lift wiper arms straight up & off windshield" then fully slide bottom tab over with large flat screwdriver or flat pry tool. Once Tab on bottom of wiper arm is slid over, then begin prying the wiper arm off post. People fail to notice that tab.Linkage removal:Under cowl cover remove the small bolts (3 each side) by wiper shafts & the (1 nut) on motor shaft/linkage. (Center inside cowl area). Entire linkage will lift right out. Once removed mark or take pics before disassembly. I replace one bushing at a time but always pay close attention to each metal linkage & plastic bushings directions/positions both. Each will only fit one way period! Don't get it wrong! I use my bench vise with a socket a tad larger in dia than the bushings dia to press them in, takes about 10 minutes with a vise. A med sized C-clamp or large Channel-Loc pliers will also work. Add a small dab of Dielectric or O-ring Grease inside the bushings to help it slide on shaft easier & keep wear down to minimum.***Beware: Regular Petroleum based grease breaks down plastic & rubber parts quickly so its better to use no grease than to use regular petroleum automobile grease here.

These clips work as intended. They took over an hour to install. Getting to the pivot points and installing them is a little challenging. Helped to watch a few online videos to see how to get access to the wiper arm pivot points.
