I needed to bypass my heater on my drag car but wanted to run a hose to gain more coolant capacity. This works great. I could have go to the auto parts store but wasn’t in a hurry.

Build rugged, heavy duty, good product. I returned it after considering dissimilar metal issues. I then bought a brass fitting. If you're using this on an engine or some application where dissimilar metal issues could cause problems, figure that into your choice/purchase.
