Are you frustrated by the cold air sent from your RV furnace? If it fails to heat or works intermittently, such as the fan would run and the ignitor would fire, but it went out soon. A new sail switch is most likely an ideal solution.

How does the Sail Switch Work?
The sail switch is an air-proving device. It's a safety component that will not let ignition occur until it sees 75% of the motor’s rpm’s. It ensures that the combustion wheel rotates fast enough so that there is a proper air and gas mixture for smooth ignition.
Where is the Sail Switch Located?
It's mounted inside the fan enclosure, you can access it by removing the top half of the fan enclosure.
How to Replace the Sail Switch?
1. Remove screws attaching the plastic cover to the blower housing.
2. Be careful with the wiring and control board as you turn the cover over to access the sail switch.
3. Remove wires from the switch contact posts.
4. Unscrew small mounting screws from the switch assembly.
5. Replace the new sail switch and reconnect the wiring.
