I looked at the picture and was concerned that I might get a poorly-finished collet. The collet I received was very precise and nicely finished. It fit my collet holders perfectly and had less than .0001 runout.

Purchased this collet for my Phase II indexer. Will not fit in indexer. other collets fit fine. Do not buy.

This collet had a slight ridge inside at the start of the internal threads.This would not allow a 1" diameter piece of stock to pass thru the collet. Had to hone the inside with a brake hone tool to enlarge inside. Its a shame this is an American made tool that required reworking and was purchased rather than the off shore brand also offered on Amazon for less money.
