I use these on router cove bits to allow them to fit a #2 Morse Taper tailstock quill on my wood lathe. Very solid and precise.

Very well made. I am using this to make bottle stoppers on my wood lathe. It is exactly what I needed. I use it with a draw bar to keep it in place and it performs perfectly. I am very happy with the collet and highly recommend it.

The collet holds 1/2" (.500) stock well centered, however, because the collet only has 3 jaws, it has very little give. I had stock that was = .005 (.505) and couldn't get it into the collet
