Power Brake Booster Fitment Information
For Toyota:
1996 - 2000 4Runner
Installration Steps
Step 1
Place the booster in its mounting position and secure it with bolts. Connect the booster to the oil pipe of the main pump and steering machine, and pls pay attention to the direction and position of the lines to ensure a smooth flow of oil.
Step 2
Connect the vacuum line, paying attention to the direction and position of the line to ensure that the vacuum line is clear.
Step 3
Adjust the mounting angle and position of the booster to ensure that it is properly connected to the oil circuit between the steering machine and the main pump of the vehicle.Adjust the working pressure and vacuum of the booster to ensure its normal operation.
Step 4
After installation, test run, check the working state and performance of the booster is normal. Only simple steps are provided here, please refer to professional installation for details.

Affordable and works quite well. Easy to install on my '98 4Runner. Saved myself a few hundred dollars instead of going to a regular car parts store.

We had this part replaced in July at a shop $750 come to find out upon inspection it was a refurbished part and vacuum leak. So bought this and so far it’s been good to go.

I bought this for my 1999 Toyota 4Runner after my brakes stopped working randomly one day. I had replaced my master cylinder but that didn't solve the problem so I bought this. This brake booster was by far the cheapest option since I am in Hawaii and shipping would be an additional $100 if I bought a brake booster on eBay. So I gave this one a shot. I have been using it for a few months now and everything seems to be working fine. I noticed that it makes a sound as if some rubber was flapping around or something. That may go away as it brakes in (pun intended). So for that, I will give it a 4 star.12/27/24I will update this review if anything changes...

As a retired aerospace engineer, I measured everything in comparison to my old ‘99 4Runner brake booster and found that this new one, purchased here, was perfect, down to the thousands of an inch, was easy to install, in less than hour, (with Jesus prayed into it) and now I have the best brakes ever!

Tried contacting manufacturer and they don’t respond. Installed brake booster in my 00 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 it fit perfectly and works as it should giving brake assist but only issue is it makes an irritating clicking noise from inside the booster at every pedal press. It wouldn’t be a big deal if you turn up the music but the point is it shouldn’t make that noise at every press. You hear the normal booster noise when pressing the pedal. I gabe a one star due to them now answering and resolving the issue.
