Ordered this kit for a 2018 Chevy 1500. The rod end doesn't work with the mechanism to lower the spare tire. In addition, the rod itself is constructed with too thin of metal, so even attempting to lower the spare caused the rod end to flare out and distort. Would not recommend this product, unless you want to be stranded.

MY TRUCK IS ON THE LIST FOR THIS ITEM. BUT THE SQUARE WAS WAY TO BIG. IT BRINGS THE TIRE DOWN BUT IT WONT LIFT IT BECAUSE OF THE WIGHT.

If you find this does not work on your vehicle and it should, check the drive stud on the cable lift unit to see if the edges are rounded off due to being over torqued. If so, you can resize the female drive wrench a little to make it work fine.

Nice complete and comprehensive tire tool kit however the quality of the actual materials seems lacking. The piece that engages the spare tire hosist deflected and became misshaped after the first use. Bag, lug wrench etc also seem to be cheap materials. Again everything is there and should work fine, just definitely not the same quality as original equipment.

I purchased this to replace my stock tire wrench due to the square ends rounding. The square end is required to raise and lower the tire. These cheap ones started to round immediately preventing me from raising my tire and them just slipping. Would not recommend. Waste of money.
