About this item

  • Good effect: The nozzle is processed with high precision, so that it has a good atomization effect and sprays evenly. The hopper texture sprayer of about 50 PSI will work well to spray a nice pattern on the drywall to match the texture on the wall.
  • Easy to use: Our texture spray gun drywall weighs about 2.68 pounds and is easy to hold. The design is simple, you can pull the trigger, adjust the flow valve and air valve to control, and even beginners can get perfect spraying results.
  • Easy to clean: The drywall hopper gun is easy to assemble and disassemble. After each using, according to the instructions, place it in the cleaning agent to clean until the spray pipe is clean. Otherwise the residual paint will harden and cause clogging, which will shorten the life of the drywall hopper gun.
  • Durable: The body of the texture gun is made of aluminum alloy, and the hopper is made of plastic, which is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. It can be used for a long time. The plastic hopper has good transparency and can see the position of the remaining paint, which can save time.
  • Wide applications: Our texture sprayer gun has three different sizes of nozzles and is ideal for spraying and staining furniture, walls and texturizing drywall, including knockdown, orange peel, popcorn and stucco textured sprays.

Wish I had bought this years ago. So easy and FAST way to texture drywall. It does require an air compressor, which I have, just warning others. Great product at a great price

Recognizing that it was impractical to buy a bunch of those spray cans of texture from the big box store to texture the walls of our bathroom after removing wallpaper, but also not being terribly thrilled about spending $100+, I decided to try this relatively inexpensive sprayer. It worked perfectly for the project (around 225 sq ft of wall), used the smallest tip and sprayed premixed joint compound thinned to the consistency of pancake batter.I'd say the only minor hiccup was the fact that the included male quick connect fitting needed to be screwed onto the shutoff valve, but leaked air (presumably needed teflon tape, which I'm sure I have somewhere in my house but couldn't locate).I wasn't sure if my particular compressor (a relatively small 6gal 1.5hp pancake style) would be up to the task, but it worked ok. Set it to about 40-50psi, and it sprayed ok, but I did need to pause occasionally to let the compressor "catch up".

Price is right, it worked well. As promised on their web site, it IS easy to use. What I learned was from reviews here.3 nozzles, small, medium, and large. In order; popcorn ceiling, orange peel, and knock down.Operation: once assembled, mix joint compound to "pancake batter" consistency or less. What that means is when mixer is removed, no peaks in compound. And a bit more water for smoother operation.Air pressure 50 psi or slightly higher.Once filled, pull the trigger THEN open the air valve or you loose lots of air from tank.I also really like the size of the hopper. I've had "professional grade" guns. They were VERY heavy when full. This hopper is manageable.Suggestion for manufacturer: include or offer a filling stand so you can fill the hopper without help.Complaint; pin holding trigger to handle fell out because e-washer broke. 6mm bolt can replace it about 25-30 mm long (1"-1 1/4") and nylok nut holds in place. I added 4 6mm washers to make operation smoother.

I’m finishing the basement of my home built in 1972. I wanted to match the orange peel texture in the new portion of the basement with the rest of the house. I was worried I would have to buy about 100 aerosol cans of orange peel texture, but bought this instead and it worked amazing. I went through about two buckets of “topping“ mud mixed with some water. It went on very quick and easy. The only tip I’d give to someone is that the little nut that holds the red switch that opens and closes the air compressor air supply came off for me. Fortunately, I found the pieces, but make sure that that the nut is on tight.

This thing was so easy to use. After watching about 5 youtube videos and practicing for 5 minutes it was a snap. Get a big knock down knife. Very well built for the price.

For the PRICE this gun is unbeatable for medium sized jobs for DIYers. The pressure valve and inner workings are flimsey, but good enough to get the occasional job done. Considering, you can use regular -CHAEP- PROPERLY THINNED mud in the gun, this thing pays itself off after the first use. Expecially, considering most texture guns that are made for smaller DIY projects are more expensive and use extremely expensive proprietary mud mixtures in small size packages. For orange peel, the mud needs to be thinned a little more than for rougher testures. Make sure to TEST the nozzle-mud combination before using it on your project. Great for remodel projects where single walls or single rooms need re-texturing.

This was an inexpensive way to repair small areas in need of texture. It sprays just fine, but the bucket split at the base the first time I attached it. The base of the bucket is too small for the metal sprayer, and the plastic seam just split. I added some extra clamps to hold it on OK to make it work, but it does create a mess as texture leaks out of the split in the bucket.

I did a 12'x12' ceiling with this in under 30 minutes. Worked perfectly. So happy with this.
