Industrial size1 = 7 inch diameter x 32 inch Length. Welded filter bag with plastic collar ring flange and handles. Welded filter bags have no needle holes or potential thread/fiber contamination to fluids. Polyester felt has good general resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and oils. Has the same efficiency as the filter media/no efficiency loss due to imperfections.

Filters certain fluids very well, very durable product, exceptionally more convenient and cost effective than other filtration methods and products. Purchased a series of these for mixing and filtering various new and recycled fuels for agricultural fuel and heating oil. They hold up well and last for thousands of gallons (I use 50 micron bags in series with 5 micron bags).Only four stars for the 100 micron bags because I had hoped to use them to transfer waste oil from barrels to IBCs, via gravity, as I had done with 100 micron mesh for years. Unlike the mesh, which I have switched back to, the polymer in the bags creates some sort of adhesive or cohesive bond with the viscous mixes I get in, resulting in a GPM of roughly 2 (I do not know if it was synthetic oil, conventional oil, hydraulic fluid or possibly vegitable or animal oil that was the source of the problem).

For a supposed 1 micron, it does not filter much. Didn’t even slow down the algae that went through it like it wasn’t even there.

Je l'utilise pour filtrer l eau venant d un ruisseau et remplir une toote de 1000 litres. Aucun problème avec un debit de 75 litres/minute. Moyen rapide et économique pour filtrer un grand debit en peu de temps. La couture scellée au fond du sac tient pour le moment.

Seams at mouth of bag split fairly quickly
