These motorcycle knee pads offer a reasonable level of protection for riding, motocross, and other activities. The adjustable straps help with fit, and the design provides decent coverage for the knees and shins. While they offer good impact resistance, the comfort and breathability might not be ideal for extended wear. A functional choice for casual riders.

These knee pads are very comfortable and fit well. They are bulky enough that I couldn't see them being used under your pants. But rather on top. Some people don't care for the look of knee pads over pants. These pads should last a very long time.

Updated review.I've used these for several weeks now and one of the best things that I can appreciate is the fact that these have a plastic clip so you don't have to wrap the band and Velcro with every use. Once you adjust them there's just a little Notch slip button to attach them that keeps them secured to your leg well. It also seems that they hinged is design helps keep it properly placed on my knees compared to some of my other pad that I have used. Plenty of padding but not too bulky. They are also comfortable on Long rides.Original review. These seem to be nice quality knee pads. There's not much to be said about shin protection. They fit well and give a tiny bit of warmth around your knee. I probably would not purchase Fortune protection. I do think they are excellent knee pads though.

Item was described to have "metal alloy knee slider". Item received is only plastic knee slider. Not a trace of metal whatsoever. Returned the item for full refund.

I wore these to ride an electric scooter and while they were comfortable and I almost forgot they were there. They only protected my knees but absolutely NOT my shins. The fit was okay for my size 5'4" 163lbs my knees were warm on a chilly NJ morning at around dawn. I fell and again they did protect my knees but my left shin just below the pad is exactly where I got bruised black and blue. I would recommend a longer shin guard area for these to be fully functional like the description seemed to imply.Edit:Nov 2024 I was contacted by customer service who explained that the description was inaccurate. Andy was nice enough to try and remedy the situation and informed me there is a guard which does protect BOTH the knee and the shin. They are awesome and I wear them over whatever leggings or tights. Fully functional, durable, lightweight. As a nice bonus the newer pads are longer which showcase that they are indeed for the shins and where the knee pad is black the newer one is blue with a cute design. I have already highly recommended these to anyone I know who rides scooters or motorbikes! Will be a return shopper and I'm overwhelmed with satisfaction. Wonderful customer service btw.

These seem to be as described...I'm not sure how they stack up against other athletic knee pads.I got them for gardening and home repair tasks. I compare them to Sellstrom Ultra Flex III KneePro Knee Pads. So, this review may not be completely useful if you use these for biking. Both brands have flexible hinge action...essential to keep the pads comfortable and in place. - - - Advantage Sellstrom - - - - Faster and easier to take off and on - Hard plastic protection over a larger area - Collect less moisture, grime, and easier to wash of - - - Advantage DUHAN - - - - Less hazard and hassle with knees locking against each other (see Note 1) - - - Using over bare legs - - - - DUHAN are fairly comfortable over bare legs...IF you flip all the foam flaps into place (kind of a hassle). The woman in the listing pic did not do this. - Sellstrom are fairly comfortable over bare legs...IF you make some cushiony tubes to encase the buckle straps (big hassle up front). Took me a couple of hours to do this. Otherwise, Sellstrom were too uncomfortable over bare legs.- - - Notes - - -Note 1: Sellstrom pads have large rivets that stick out more over time. Serious safety hazard...knees can catch and bind against one another. Covering the rivets with duct tape can help.

These are well-made, comfortable and very protective pads at a reasonable price. They came in a nice nylon storage sack that isn't even mentioned on the Amazon page. When I first tried them on I found it difficult to pass the straps through the buckles, so I trimmed the corners off of all of the strap ends so they would pass more easily through the buckles. Then I realized that it is never necessary to pass a strap through a buckle ‒ simple plastic catches are used instead. That is, however, their only weakness. The plastic catches would probably be fine for skateboarding, but they are insubstantial things that I doubt would be strong enough for a severe motorcycle crash. Still, one could fasten them through the buckles, as I initially did, though the pads would be much less quick to put on.

Like the construction of these, solid, well fitted (but be sure to observe the right and left identifying tags- they look like they're the same, but they fit differently if you put them on the wrong side! that tells me the fit is well thought out and designed.
