Cant really give this product a bad review because it does work on solid 1" bars. And I'm not going blame them for something I took $5 risk on but they do not work for the 1' bars with the screw type ends.

I bought these to use with my one-inch adjustable dumbbells because I was tired of having to unscrew and screw the nut every time I wanted to change weights. When I received these and put them on the bar, they felt a little loose so I tested them by rotating the weights so that the plates would be directly on top of the clips (basically from H to å·¥) and the plates fell right off. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone as they are not safe.

I have a plastics set of barbells with a 1 inch threaded bar. These work great. You do have to get them in the right position over the threads but it hold firm and was exactly what I needed.

These work well for a set of dumbbells that I have. Be mindful of the diameter, they’re too small for barbells. They work well and seem like they’ll last a while.
