I initially thought Dynaplug was too expensive, so I tried a cheaper alternative. It was really hard to get the patch to stay in the hole. I tried another brand, same result. Finally I broke down and bought the Dynaplug system. Much easier to use, and it works. There are good reasons Dynaplug is the industry standard.

The other tire plugs have one tool to drive a roughing tool in and out a few timed, then push in the plug strands then remove the tool with just some strands left in the puncture. There is nothing though to hold the strands in place. However, with this system it is all done with an in and out stroke. The brass "bullet" penetrates and then retains the bullet and plug strand.Quick, easy and reliable.I have been using them since 2018. This is a reorder.I have been cycling 40 years.

Rode a week ago with a friend she had a 2" nail into her tire. This thing works quickly, within 1 minute we were back on the road. pretty expensive though.

I got a puncture mountain biking in Utah and fixed it trail side with the standard bacon strip. It held and got me down the mountain. I added a little more sealant when I got back from the ride and all looked good. I went back out the next day and the bacon strip popped out mid-ride. I tried to re-plug with a larger size but it didn’t fit. I popped a new regular size one in and made it back down. I ordered a new tire, but found these on Amazon with great reviews so I gave them a go. Instead of replacing the tire, I pulled the bacon strip out and popped one of these in. So far so good. Big 3.5 hr ride today (big climbs, fast rocky rooty descents) in Park City with no problems.

Yes, the pro version is a lot more expensive, but it’s significantly easier to pack on your rides, and doesn’t look ridiculous. The aluminum case is very nice as opposed to cheap black plastic, The medium black giant pill version is huge and much more cumbersome to pack in your gear.Dynaplugs themselves work great if you follow instructions!

Hit a big nail with my Specialized S-Works Turbo RapidAir tire. The Dynaplug went in easy but it did nothing to fix the leak. It didn't work any better than plug kits costing one-third the price. It seems like a nice idea but the price is out of wack with the competition. I'm just glad I also carried a tube so I could get home.

Nice Kit. It's well made and light weight.
Werkt perfect

Wel moeten extra pluggen elders bewaard worden en niet in het omhulsel

About the only good thing is that the plugs will most likely work, however the overall container is too long to fit in a saddle bag or (short) bidon caddy. Also, the plugs don't fit very well within the cap. Lack of proper instructions, except for what is scribbled on the box.The pointy tip of the plugs will probably interfere with tubes if ever fitted. Might be a good idea to carry a pocket knife or something to cut off the tip when fitting an inner tube.
