This Dynasty Hardware grade 2 keyed entry function commercial heavy duty door lever can be used in office buildings, restaurants, hotels
- ANSI Grade 2 certified cylindrical Key-In function Lever handle
- ADA approved for barrier free access on all commercial and residential exterior doors.
- This keyed door lock can be used for either right or left handed applications.
- The 4-3/4 Inch handles work independently of each other.
- The 2-3/4-Inch backset latch meets the UL 3 Hour Fire Rating.
- This lockset is made to fit doors between 1-3/8-Inch and 1-3/4-Inch.
Exterior Lever
Exterior lever can be locked or unlocked by using a key.
- Uses SC1 keys
- Each set is sold keyed different
- Locks can be easily keyed alike if needed by any local lock shop.
- The exterior handle is removable for ease of re-keying.
- 6 pin solid brass cylinder plug
Interior Lever
Turn/push-button locking:
Pushing and turning the inside button locks the outside lever, requiring the use of a key until the button is manually unlocked.
Push-button locking:
Pushing the inside button locks the outside lever until it is unlocked by key or by turning the inside lever.

The instructions recommended through bolts, but I did not use them as it's a low use lock. You can get a good squeeze on a steel door without them. The screws have serrations in them to prevent them from backing out, so if you detect grinding, it's probably just doing its job.Follow the instructions exactly, particulary on mounting the lock key lever. If you try to wing it, the lock won't work right. Rotate the lock clockwise 90 deg with one hand and insert the lever with the key with your other hand. Took me a couple times.The levers have some play in them, so not super high quality. It's a value lock at a value price. It won't beat the true pro brands in fit and finish, however.

The handle seems pretty sturdy and relatively mechanically simple on the inside, compared to other handles I've installed, but boy are the installation instructions very difficult to follow despite really not being very many steps. I bought this to replace a Schlage commercial handle that lasted 20 years in a very high traffic area, and it installed perfectly without needing to drill any new holes, which was nice. I won't know if it holds up for another decade or so, hopefully, but it seemed durable when I put it together, everything fit together nicely when it was done. My handle was a passage, so I can't speak to the quality of any lock mechanisms. The only really notable item is that it's a much lower profile, in terms of how far it sticks out of the door, than almost any other handle of its type that I've used, which does take some getting used to, but will probably help it's durability in the long run, since it'll have less leverage against it during use. Overall would consider buying again, though perhaps not for such a high traffic area as that low profile makes it a bit harder to open than I would have preferred.

I ordered this for my new exterior door on my home. Nice lockset. I have a commercial lockset on my garage but I didn't install it. I decided against it for my house as I thought it was too excessive plus the difficulty. If you need a super duty lockset and have experience with these kind of locks, I would get it. It looks like very good quality.
