For some reason, the previous family who built this house decided to trim a lot of things in that tacky, brass, gold look. Granted, this has been at the bottom of the list of concerns as we tackle bigger home decor issues.All of the doorknobs in our house were that brass, gold color. One of the kids got stuck as the doorknob "locked" itself, and there was no way to fix it other than removing the doorknob. We were alraedy in the middle of ripping out our master bath, so why not replace all of the doorknobs in the house?This was a 2nd order for us. I didn't realize that the latch plate varied among doorknobs. My first order had a square corner latch plate, but all of our existing doorknobs had a rounded corner latch plate, so we had to return them. This second set turned out to be a good match.My husband has replaced all of the upstairs doorknobs, and they look so much nicer than what we had! They are thick, and heavy duty. I now realized that what we had looked very cheapy, along with the horrendous, tacky, gold color.These were a good price, buying in bulk as well. Hopefully they last.

Looks good, no issues replacing older. Ability to switch right to left is great. Functionality wise ok, the operation was not smooth like older one, unsure because if this is new.

we got this when we redid our house. We painted our doors black so these are a perfect addition. Good quality. Scratch proof. Easy to install. Good value for the money. They’re moved to the touch and function as they should. Easy to lock/unlock!

Just starting off with a couple reviews with pics and one video installed these wrong, screw goes on the bottom. Supper easy to swap them the way you need, just undo the screw switch the hands around put screw back in.. Now that part is out of the way I purchased a 5 pack took them all out and looked them over before installed sense some reviews had blemishes right out of the box, I did not. They all look great and work just fine. There not high-end there a little clunky but you get what you pay for and these were cheap. Overall I'm very happy and will update if anything changes.

Our toddler has discovered washing his hands, but not removing the soap from his hands. So we now have all the interior doors in a format that don't require ability to grip the knob in order to open them.These are amazingly good quality, really easy to install, they're surprisingly heavy, slipped in to replace the original knobs without adjustment, and the unlock slot works really, really well.
