I bought 2 of these for my niece and nephew as Christmas gifts this year. The construction is sturdy and not super heavy. I loved the carrying case and finger hammers as well as having the drum sticks. Allows for different sound and play. The tone is clear and beautiful and the kids really loved them and are playing things from the included song book. Great gift item and value for the money.

I bought this for my son who plays all kinds of instruments. He always wanted a Tongue Drum but never bought one. I saw this and decided I would get this as a Christmas gift for him and hoped that he still wanted one. We gave it to him and he was trying to guess what it was as he was opening it. I told him that he would never guess what it was and just to open it. When he saw it he got a big smile and was surprised I had remembered that he wanted one. It came with all that is advertised. The "sticks" and the "finger strikes" are good quality wood and rubber. The case is surprisingly nice and had a canvas look and feel to it. The zipper works without any snags when opening and closing. The drum itself is a heavy metal and sounds like it should when played. It has rubber feet and there is an opening at the bottom with a secure rubber plug like any Tongue Drum should. You get a quality product for a great price. Would not hesitate to buy again.

This was a gift for my grandson and he loves it. It came with a music book and he enjoys playing the songs. His teacher played one in class and my grandson loved the sound.

I like that this drum has a full octave+1 of notes so you can play almost any melody that you want to. It sounds great with the mallets and has some interesting muted tones when played with the hands. You can use different techniques like knuckles and fingertips and I also found that flicking the tongues makes a cool sound too. I also like to play this like a traditional drum and it gives nice eastern undertones with the rhythmic percussion. This drum is very portable and fits in your lap. It's great for kids who like noisy toys because it always make a nice sound, and also for people who want to learn an instrument but are daunted by more complexity like strings or wind. My drum came tuned out of the box but it has instructions on how to alter the tones if they aren't spot on. Bending the tongues up or down can change the tone and I believe that the reviews saying their drum wasn't in tune might have gotten bent tongues in transit. The carrying case it comes with is well made and it includes a song book for some starter tunes to get you going. The book and the mallets don't have a dedicated pouch so they just kinda sit on top of everything though.All in all, for the price I think this is a great little instrument and it serves my needs perfectly.

Suena genial, nos gusto mucho, el único tema es que las lenguas están tipo mal numeradas, entonces al querer apoyarnos con la partitura, no suena como se supone que deberÃa, pero fuera de eso, es perfecto

Absoluter Blödsinn diese Pan. Klingt scheppernd. Nicht genau gestimmt. Lächerlich klein. Noch nicht mal als Spielzeug zu gebrauchen. Dafür viel zu teuer. Kostet in der Herstellung vermutlich 2€.
