the only issue we had with these was out trailer latch rubbed against the cord when they were all the way down (which is a personal trailer issue) so we notched the angle iron so it wouldnt rub, they work great and save your back more than you realize!

This product works great and is a good value for the money. You definitely need to upgrade to the aluminum rollers for the cable guide. After approximately one month of use, the plastic rollers wore out. Decoded cable has already come apart but probably due to the plastic roller failure. I would suggest purchasing the aluminum cable rollers on Amazon for $17 to go with it! Also, there's no adjustment for cable tension or at least nothing easy

I had these installed when I bought my new 5’X8’ trailer with 47†ramp/gate. It is such a breeze putting the ramp down and easy lifting it back up with one hand. (I’m 68 and it’s easy for me.).

Works great. Just watch where your cables will land when gate is down. I had to add some rollers to the very end of the trailer side to prevent the vinyl cable cover from rubbing the top of the side when gate is down. Not an issue with this part, more about the way the trailer is built.

Installed but down one side cable snapped 1st day out using the other side cable loop came apart on the gate got in touch with the company on the 1st brake sending out replacement if both sides aren't included ill return it ......buy a name brand one that's on my other trailer that works great......update they sent a new spring with cable ill be returning for a refund and going with a name brand

Cables came loose first one side then the other had to repair and replace cable clamps with-in a month of installing with very little use. Poor fastner for cable and very difficut to repair

Powder coated but the inside was rusted and not powder coated... I peimmed the inside as well and then use the color to match the trailer.
