I got this because it was cheap and easy to set up. The objective was to power a small fan in my chicken coop that's connected to a chiller. I was disappointed initially in that it didn't have the wattage to do the job, and perhaps my mistake was thinking that it could. However, I use this as a great trickle charger in my workshop. The unit is connected near the entrance connection going through the wall to a handy plastic tray on the other side. Since I have no outlets near that section of the workshop, it's a handy way to charge small items during the day. Don't expect this to keep your cell phone charged in an hour when it's dead. However, I use it for keeping things like the extra ring battery charged and ready when I need it.

I find it odd that Honda generators do not charge the starting batteries. Adding these to my generator shed is keeping the batteries charged and one less thing to mess with. Generators are there for when you need them, hoping you never do. Now my list is to just run the gennys once/mo and not worry about the battery.

Had this hooked up and when I came out a few days later the battery was flatlined... gone... toast.. Guess what was hooked to it... This "charger". Do not reccommend , do not buy this crap. Straight junk.

Being retired is great, but it has meant that my car often sits in the driveway for a week or two without being driven.That inactivity has caused the car battery to be so weak that the car won’t start. We replaced the battery with a new one, but the problem resurfaced after several months,We believe the source of the problem may be that the backup camera, that I installed, doesn’t always shut off completely when the car is parked.My solution was to use this solar charger on the car when it is parked. Since I have been using the solar charger the car had started without failing.I needed an inexpensive, but reliable, solution; and this solar charger had been perfect for those needs. Just what the doctor ordered!

My battery measured 12.46 volts before attaching the charger. The next day it measured 12.61 volts. Seems to work great!

I finally got around to mounting this thing but it has a serious design flaw. The suction cups (which were a pain to install) can't grip because there's a small box on the bottom of the panel that sits lower than the suction cups. How did they not realize this the first time they tried it out??? I wound up just leaving it hoping the wind doesn't move it. I'm sure I can Mcguyver it but really shouldn't have to if it was designed better.
