Bought it to DIY a water supply to my fridge. Works great and I haven't heard a noise from it despite having super hight pressure in my pipes.Easy enough to install but make sure read the instructions and to install one side on a stud. I also recommend placing a piece of 2x4 on the other side to to make it really sturdy.

I've had this connected to the fridge for a few weeks now and haven't had an issue with the plumbing itself. I docked one star because of the housing. There is one little screw bracket which you use to stabilize the piece on the framing. But in the act of attaching it to the stud, the bracket snapped (not the case itself). The product didn't come with hardware so I don't know if the plumber used a screw that was too big or if it was over-tightened or if the material is just too thin. I did buy a couple of different brands to see which would provide the best fit with my rough-in location so I had some level of comparison. This one was the better size so we went with it. Ultimately, they could beef up the attachment point a bit and it'd be great.

We have used quite a few of these boxes. Work great for our applications.

I changed the layout out my Kitchen Appliances in a remodel, and relocated the Refrigerator to an adjacent wall, far from the original location. My new location however was on an interior wall where I had a Powder Room on the opposite side! You can see the process above - added a 1/2" to 3/8 90 to the bottom of the Valve, then ran a std 3/8 line up to a 3/8 Add-A-Tee to complete the process. Finally I added a 90 on the outlet, which allows the refrigerator line to run parallel to the wall, which allows it to go closer to the wall vs interfering/kinking if connected straight-on.That was simply an extra 1/4-90 compression 90 plus a small length of 1/4" Stainless Tubing.Everything was sourced right here on Amazon!
