This egg slicer is so good! For the price so sturdy . It's not some plastic piece of junk like some are. It feels heavy. And I don't think the strings will bend. I wanted a smaller egg slicer than the big bulky one I had . This is perfect. Easy to quickly use. Works easy. Cuts easy. washes easy.

I'm very happy with this egg slicer. It is sturdily made of metal and has weight to it. The wires are taut and sliced well. My previous egg slicer was actually too small to adequately slice large eggs. This one is plenty large enough and would probably slice extra large eggs, though I can't be sure. I generally slice the egg lengthwise and then lift it and slice it again widthwise to get small cubes (after using a knife to slice the long pieces. It both sliced well and I could easily lift and replace the hardboiled egg. People mainly point out problems with the slicer when slicing things other than hardboiled eggs. I do not believe this egg slicer is made to slice other types of food, such as strawberries. Used as stated, it's a very good egg slicer.

Does a great job. It is stable and secure when cutting the egg. You can cut and egg both directions to get a finer chop for egg salad. Wires are strong. It is well made.

Great egg slicer. I have high hopes that this egg slicer will last my family for years. I am very pleased with the very sturdy solid build, no fear of this metal unit becoming brittle over time as it ages or the wires coming loose from a plastic frame. I am very pleased.

Tried to slice a cucumber and 2 strings broke. Waste of money
