I can only eat the yolks and I can separate two eggs at one time with this separator and then carefully transfer them to my very small nonstick Cuisinart skillet from TJ Maxx for $5 which makes delicious eggs. I hate messy cleanup so I line the separator’s bottom container with a quart size zipper bag from a box of them from the Dollar Tree. Also, I love to use a small Ikea Teflon spatula that is from their kid’s real kitchen set of smaller utensils set. Works awesome. Also, the separator washes up great in the top rack of dishwasher.

This little gadget is so convenient.I use meringue quite often , so I no longer have any worries about egg yolk getting in to the egg whites.

I bought this item after taking a culinary class and learning how separate egg yolks by handAlthough this item does work it does take a little more time to separate the eggs then it would by hand
