This is a hard to find bargain at any auto parts store or hardware store if you had to. The wire is pure copper and it does have a generic wire insulator I think would be okay for most engine builds I wouldn’t use it on anything super high heat. I haven’t had any issues with the relays however I’m kind of the kind of getting one grade relays as is for such a critical component. But I’m more than happy with this kit. I’d recommend this brand to anyone I have their fuel line workingKit and that was an awesome deal too.

Received as expected. The instructions were incorrect as the wire call outs didn’t match with wires provided. Came with a single 20A fuse…so why does the description read 40A? Also, the fuse holder seems to have provisions to mount on the relay, but the mounts don’t match up. I used a zip tie.

I've been planning to lop my fan off since it draws RPM from the engine, as my fan is always running. Not to mention, my fan is really large and scares me when I'm running the truck and checking out under the hood. Can't wait to source an electric fan and get this install up and running with this relay kit.The inclusion of a temperature trigger was useful, but I'm still going to need to source a housing for the sensor. I really wish this was included, and I'd certainly be happy to pay a few bucks extra to have an all-in-one kit, but oh well, that is really my only drawback here.

I'm planning to keep this for a truck install since the current unit is known to fail a lot. It's definitely smart to have a spare on hand because it's just a matter of time before it goes out. The installation was super simple, and this relay is also great for a ceiling fan I have in my studio. Either way, having an extra is a smart move, and this one looks like a solid choice.

I got this kit for fixing the broken wires in the cooling system of my truck. The kit includes everything needed including a wiring diagram that shows the details of installation. There are plenty of tutorials online and they are mostly using the same kind of kit. It was fairly easy to follow alone. The wires looks pretty good. They are pre-terminated, which makes the life easier on me. It gives four different sizes of eyelets for bolting to battery power. The whole process took about one and a half hours. Glad that everything worked out in one shot.

Kit is complete, I'm trying to power a single 12" fan and I feel the main fused power from battery to relay is not heavy gauge enough. The supplied 20a fuse popped when trying to run the fan I then tried a 30a fuse which worked briefly but then also failed. Believe the wiring needs to be beefed up and higher rated fuse used. May work fine on smaller lower draw fans.

I bought this as a spare for the unit that is currently on my car. The sending units are notorious for going bad, and you need to have one handy. This is true even for the best and most expensive of sending units; it's not peculiar to the less-expensive versions. This one looks heavy-duty (the wiring) and should handle fans that draw 20 amps, which would be some of the best ones available.
