Stores near me wanted $200 for this part. I ordered one evening and received it before the sun came up the next morning. Installation was easy. Yes, I did it myself...with the help of a friend....but mostly me. Have not had a problem with it since.

Read what they tell you, look at pics, was right one for wire plug, seems to work well.

It does not work well on the vehicle. When the car first starts up and it is for a minute the light will come on for the throttle to be replaced. I will turn the car off and turn it back on. It will ride for a couple of miles and the light will come on again. I will have to pull over put the car in neutral pump the brakes a couple of times turn the car off once it is completely powered down, turn it back on. This time the car will run with no problems. I was told the throttle that was put on is no good

2016 Jeep Patriot went “limp†and the Electric Throttle Body†light turned on immediately. Had the vehicle towed home and was able to complete the install in 2.75 hours, the install could be closer to 1-1.5 hours but it was snowing and below freezing during the install so I had to take a break.The sensor connections matched and bolt locations were accurate.After install and restarting my battery my car drove as before and the Electric Throttle Body light was off.
