I wanted an outdoor timer that was easy to set up. This is the best purchase I have made AND hooks up with Alexa so I can control it if I want to! We just endured heavy rain and wind from the hurricane and it kept our string lights plug dry and had no issues! We got the 2 plug and I’m so glad I did so at Christmas we can plug in 2 diff lights and each will have its own on/off schedule. 12/10 would recommend to everyone!

This is the second one of these I've bought. I used the first to have Alexa turn on and off outside lights. It's very reliable and works every time. My internal Hue lights aren't nearly as reliable when using voice control.

This product was perfect for our outdoor Christmas decorations. The app was easy to install and allows for timers and on/off schedules. Although there are many similar products, they do not provide the waterproofing that this product does. This unit connects and tightly seals the extension cords, so that rain does not get into the outlet. Build quality is sturdy as well.

Can’t remember if I already reviewed this product already or not. The device was simple to install and connect with my home WiFi network. I use it to control the lights and fan in my backyard gazebo. The lights and fan can be controlled independently and from any distance using the Google Home app. I could be on the other side of the planet and control them as long as I have a WiFi connection. The connect has been extremely stable. Have never had a connection issue. The device provides weather proof power connections so no worries about shorting out during even the heaviest rainstorms we have experience (we’ve had some very sever ones). Still functioned at 20 degree F. Couldn’t have found a better device. I am a retired aerospace engineer and shopped around to find the best product.

This is a great unit & was just what I needed for my backyard, with 2 outlets that could be controlled separately. I really like that it has an enclosure for the outlets & set up is pretty straightforward.The main issue I ran into is it doesn't seem to actually communicate with the app on your phone over your wifi, which seems to be the main point of having it connected to the wifi in the first place.Once I set everything up it functioned fine on its own, but I would receive notifications that it was having timing issues each time it was supposed to be working. If I checked the app in a part of the house that was far from the unit itself (while still being on the same wifi network) it would show that it was offline. Once I got close to the unit, it would show online. That tells me the phone is connecting via Bluetooth and not over the wifi network since distance between the phone & the unit shouldn't matter if it is over the network & I have other wifi enabled devices (my landscape controller) in the same area of this outlet.So it sends error alerts if you are not close enough for the phone to connect to it directly & It also sends alerts if you are away from the house and would not be able to connect to the unit at all even it it was communicating via wifi. Even though I was getting these notifications when my phone wasn't directly connected to the unit, the unit WAS still functioning & running through its schedules when I would walk out and check though.So in the end it works and does everything I need - I would just suggest setting it up & turning off notifications to leave it like any other non-"smart" timer. Still worth getting if you need a nice enclosed outlet timer that can control the 2 outlets separately. Just set it up and treat it like a standard timer and turn off the notifications once you have it in place.

This outdoor plug is great. I bought it in the summer, for my pool pump, works great . Then I used it for Christmas lights.You get a notification when the lights go on and off.

We use this outside to plug our pool pump in. This allows us to use alexa to control when the pump turns on and off with an alexa schedule. The way the cover fits over the plugs it keeps them dry in all bad weather.

Compatible con Tuya y Smart Home. Llevo como 2 semanas usándolo en la intemperie, incluso en condiciones de lluvia y neblina, y no se ve que le afecte. Las series y adornos navideños conectados los tengo programados para prender y apagar en cierto momento del dÃa con respecto a la salida y puesta del sol, haciéndolo muy conveniente para no tener que estar prendiéndolos y apagándolos manualmente.
