These are great and have been very helpful. They are mostly handy with your plug you want them in is countertop. I bought them specifically to turn off items that I use once a day and don't want them sucking up power the rest of the time. I have a kitchen radio and an undercounter lighting system, and they are plugged into one of these. I turn my undercabinet lights on and off easily and turn my radio on when I want it on. I also have one of these with my connections to charge up my tablet and my smart watch. I can turn them on and off only when I am charging one of them, the rest of the time no power is used.

UK plugs, and many EU plugs, have switches built in for every socket. These add that convenience easily, cheaply, and without any extra cords that other solutions require. Great for actually turning off things that don't actually turn off, ending vampire power drain from stuff with inefficient 'sleep' modes.These are especially useful in the kitchen, to turn off appliances that don't have a switch and run as long as they're plugged in. Works great for my instant pot, my popcorn maker, and as a second off switch for things like the coffee pot and blender, which have switches that are harder to reach than the outlet.

I don't have to have dangling cords anymore. Now I can leave things plugged and simply hit the on/off switch. I had some that had one switch on them. But I installed another row of night lights and needed a way to control two strings of lights. This did the trick! I am very happy with them. The set I replaced were several years old and still worked great.I am having trouble with one of the switches. It is not fully turning off. I have lights plugged into it. It is not fully turning off the lights. When it is turned off the lights continue to shine, but just barely. I was very surprised when I noticed that even though it was turned off the lights were still bright to be seen from a thousand feet away.

This switch turns a single wall plug into two independent switch controlled plugs. I used it for plug-in under counter lights. It is a very useful product.

For a while now, I've been searching for wall socket extenders with individual power switches for the outlets.The only thing I could find are units which have builtin USB ports for changing which is something I really don't want. All I really wanted was a unit with 3 or more outlets with individual power switches, preferably with the switches on the face instead of the top edge.I use these for my medical equipment which I've been having to plug in and unplug on a regular basis.In the Kitchen I have my Ultra Sonic CPAP washer and my CPAP dryer. The washer I have no choice but to plug it in and unplug it and I have to put it away each time. Bu the dryer sits on the counter and with this plug unit, I can leave it plugged in with the other side of it being used for the under the cabinet radio. The the remaining out let plug I use for my washer every two days.In the living room, I used to have to unplug the table lamp to plug my UV sanitizer in when using it. Now with these plugs, I plug the sanitizer in one outlet and the lamp in the other outlet. The lamp outlet I keep turned on and the Sanitizer outlet I turn on when needed.When turning the switch on and off, I place on finger under the side I want to turn on while pushing the switch so as to hold it still. If I just push the switch, the unit tilts to that side. So it's be best if the switches were on the face.Until recently, I wasn't able to find anything like this and I definitely did not want something with an extension cord either.So this was worth the purchase and I recommend using these for those who need them.

I love these small plug on outlets. I purchased the 3 set and I realized I needed more. Love that they have a switch on each outlet, it keeps from using electricity when you are not using it. I'm receiving my second order today.
