This Feit smart outdoor plug is well built, reliable, and amazingly simple to use. My wife and I string outdoor lights in a trio of snow crabapples every year. Historically, we've always used an old school electromechanical timer to control the lights. This year it seemed like it was time to replace our old controller, so I poked around a bit on Amazon and found this Feit unit. I am a fairly adept home DIY handyman, Feit is a brand I generally know and trust.The new dual smart plug arrived this past Friday afternoon, the same day our lights went up. Before they even ran for the first time, I had time to inspect the unit, download the software app, test functionality, and put it to work.I set up a schedule for our lights to turn on at 4:15 PM each day (Connecticut winter days get dark early) and then off at 11 PM. For 6 days in a row it has worked, Johnny-on-the-spot, without fail.I only wish my parents could have lived long enough to see how cheap and easy it is in 2024 to automate outdoor holiday lights!

I bought the Feit Electric Smart Outdoor Plug, with the WiFi Waterproof with 2 Grounded Sockets for my outdoor Christmas lights and decorations. What I like about the Feit smart plugs is that, with all smart plug devices, you have to download their app. Most brands, you have to purchase the app and then subscribe to a monthly or yearly fee. With Feit, the app is free and there is no subscription fees. The app also works with Alexa and Google Assistant, App Controlled. It’s a 15 Amp Indoor/Outdoor with 2 Outlets. The app allows you to program and set the on/off time. Also to set a timer to set how long you want your device to stay on (5,6,7,10,15,30 minutes). Also it is an easy set up once you have the app downloaded. Takes no more than 5-10 minutes depending on your WiFi speed. I highly recommend it.

I bought one these, and then another, and then a third.Great switches and Feit Electric provides quality app for full use of timers scheduling and even lighting scenes. Also can use internet time for timing purposes even after losing wifi, Defininitely a great product.

Perfect for outdoor Christmas lights, or any outdoor application such as patio or deck lighting. The companion smartphone app works well and is easy to use. I have several other Feit indoor smart plugs so this outdoor plug was easy to add to the app as well. The plug is also ETL rated which I prefer to no-name Chinese products. On the negative side, the safety covers for the two outlets are totally ineffective, as they fall out by themselves. The only other comment is that the short cable is very stiff, even when warm.

I love this Feit wireless access outdoor plug! this thing has about 10 sets of my halloween lights powering it and I love it. Easy to set up and use once you've downloaded the Feit app from Apple Store or Android store (not sure if that is the right name, I'm an apple iPhone user). completely compatible with Google or Echo devices to be able to turn on and off and you can even set up routines...I know...the best - lights turn on and off at the time you've selected and then if you want them on again, just tell Alexa or Hey Google, or even open your phone, go to the app and turn them on and off when you want to. It's even compatible with Apple HomeKit if you are using that app as well. I love that I no longer have to go outside and plug in and unplug my holiday lights (right now, that is halloween and fall, soon it will be Christmas). After the holidays, you can use the plug to turn on some outdoor lights in the back yard! Love this plug! Go and buy yourself one...or two! You deserve it!

Very helpful for when you don’t want to go outside to turn on lights etc. I also like that you can set up a schedule for this, it was helpful for the holiday lights.

Una vez instalado es muy sencillo de usar, solo le pides a Alexa que lo prenda o lo apague y listo.Necesitas un poco de conocimiento para instalar la app del enchufe y para vincular la cuenta con Alexa, pero funciona muy bien.Se pueden programar horarios de encendido y apagado, prender a distancia desde la app Feit o desde Alexa, muy fácilmente.Solo me sigue haciendo un poco de ruido el retraso de 2-3 segundos para encender, desde el momento que Alexa confirma que entendio el comando y el momento que enciende lo que tengas conectado.

Me gusto el producto es de buena calidad, excedo la carga soportada que recomiendan mas sin embargo hasta ahora no presenta calentamiento en su material, lo tengo programado para que se encienda dos veces al dia, al apps de la marca es facil de instalar y entender.

I bought this for my pool pump and chlorinator. I programmed it to turn off from 10 Pm to 6:00. I don't need it running 24/7. It connects easily to my wifi, unfortunately only the 2.4 ghz. Links easily to Google as well. This is the second one I bought as I misplaced the first one over the winter months. Found the original one and I now use it for my cordless lawnmower and chainsaw chargers.
