Love the angle of the bowls for our kitten. Only thing is watching how far up you fill the water since the bowl is angled.

Just the right size and height for my elderly cat. She has been happy with it. The dish piece is small than she is custom to but she needs to ton down. Good position control.

Update2: have had these like 4 months now.. I wanted to share that these are a nuisance to clean. There are too many parts and places for water to leak into if you try washing it all together. Makes the whole process an ordeal. If your cats keep their food in the bowl and don’t leave crumbs around it you’d probably be fine since you just have to wash the silver bowls themselves. My cats aren’t tidy though. I’ll be getting simple 1pc ceramic raised/curved dishes when it’s time to upgrade, but for now I may just use the bowls without the base (points for versatility)..Update: **the bowls did start exhibiting some black residue/marks. Very strange and tough to get off the plastic.Other bowls were either too steep or not elevated enough, but this one satisfies both plus has protection from food splatter. The silver bowls themselves were not dirty either like another customer unfortunately experienced** The only trouble I had was getting the clear rim in one. The product is well designed and everything goes flush together for stability. Not that bad to clean. The rim coming off is main annoyance.

This is the perfect set up for our little guy. Baby boy is quarantined until he finishes treatments and he kept knocking over the bowls of food and water. This set up is perfect for our needs and easy to clean and refill. Definitely recommend and happy that he can keep them as he gets larger.

I bought this because it was described as "healthier" for the cat, causing less neck pain since it is elevated, and less vomiting since the bowls are tilted. The elevated bowls do put the food on a more even level with their mouths so they don't lean down as much ( I never realized this was a problem for cats), but I still don't understand how the tilted bowls keep a cat from vomiting.I like that this set comes in several pieces instead of one solid piece, since it will be easier to wash the individual parts. I like that the bowls are stainless steel, but the other parts are a rather thin plastic and don't fit together as well as they should.The biggest problem is that only one of my cats will eat from it. My other cat sits next to it and cries until I remove the food bowl and place it flat on the floor. I don't know if other cat owners have had this problem, or if my cat is just too set in his ways to try something new.UPDATE: I removed the raised plastic "fence" that circled the base, and now my cat will eat out of his bowl. He didn't like leaning over it to get to his food, so that was an easy fix.

I was looking for an elevated bowl with a splash guard because both my cats are slobs when they eat, especially my boy who thinks it's amusing to get his kibble all over the floor and then somehow gets water from the fountain on top of that, which would become a disgusting mess. This bowl has solved all my problems, and he loves it! I love that it helps us both a little with portion control, as well. I feed wet/dry, and the bowls are the perfect size for 1/2 cup of kibble and 3 oz can of wet food side by side. :) I am planning to get another one for my lady kitty who already has an elevated bowl but could also use the splash guard.These DO got together kind of funky, particularly the splash guard, but it also all adjusts and settles in the right spots after some use. They just need a little breaking in.

The design is not good. The bowls lean too far forward and water spills all over. Now I understand why there is a clear plastic barrier around the edge, to catch all the water that spills. It is not worth the cost at all! The only thing about it that I like is that it is pretty. That’s it. So, yep, needs to go back.
