I am so surprised how awesome this little affordable dehydrator is. I’ve been able to use it for absolutely everything, from drying gourmet mushrooms for later cooking, fresh cut herbs and medicinals from the garden, as well as making my own “sun dried†heirloom tomatoes! It’s nothing fancy, very compact, and works really well. Great bargain and I’ve put it through a ton of cooking and it’s still like new

I bought a spinning one with five layers, and it was round. I bought it used maybe 12 years ago, and it's been busted and can't spin for the last 2 years because a bad kid decided to play with it! Since it took longer, like 12 hours to 14 hours to do the five rows of beef jerky, I chose to buy this digital one. I'm not sorry, wish I had bought it sooner. It's fantastic! I put it for 8 hours, and the top two rows and the very bottom row got heat first and finished first, so I moved around the other two. It still took about 9 hours to do all five racks, but I got a lot of beef jerky out of it. It took as little as just over 3 hours to cook the first row, which is crazy because my last one took a minimum of 6 hours. I love this thing, even though I've only used it once. Once you take the top off, even if you're just looking at the meat, it pauses the operation. Once you put it back on, it starts again immediately from where it left off. It's not very hot, but warm enough at 158°, which is perfect for creating jerky that's not too dry. It's very compact and I actually used it in my bedroom while I slept, so I didn't have to keep going down to the kitchen to check on the meat. It's not loud at all, although at times when it was first going it made some high-pitched sounds, but afterward, it was very quiet. My room smelled like beef jerky, but I could think of worse things for it to smell like! LOL. The racks are also easier to clean and are dishwasher safe, and they can fit in the standard sink, something my last one couldn't do because it was round and oversized. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves beef jerky as much as I do because it makes it quickly, especially the very thick pieces, which is what I use, cubed beef.

So while picking out dehydrators I decided I wanted one with metal trays and possibly components. See I know from experience that plastic gets brittle when you subject it to heat, and had read complaints about trays breaking on Every Single dehydrator. I found this one and I’m so glad I did, it’s All metal inside and out, which honestly is pretty amazing, no VOCs or other contaminate worrry, and no worry about any parts breaking with wear/age. It fits A Lot. Yes it is a smaller dehydrator, but one tray can fit 1 1/2-2 bananas for banana chips, this tiny machine can dehydrate a whole 6-8 bunch of bananas in one go! I love that it’s small, I can tuck it away in the cabinet when I need to, and unless you’re creating like Batches of something this is the size any normal person would want and be happy with. Adjustable temp allows me to dial in the drying time, and the outside of the machine stays remarkably not hot. Really surprised me. For the price, quality, the metal trays and body, this right here can’t be beat. If you’re looking/comparing dehydrators you can put away your notes and just get this one, I did all the homework and it truly is the best deal, will last the longest, has the most customizations, perfect little machine for all your dehydrating needs!!

It works and dehydrates things like its supposed to while looking good instead of being an eyesore, which gets it 3 stars for basic functionality and aesthetics. However, I do have some complaints with the product. Although the product claims you can adjust the temperature from 95-158F and this is technically true, in reality you can increase this in increments of 9, which only gives you the option to choose between 8 presets: 95, 104, 113, 122, 131, 140, 149, 158. Also, the unit is a lot smaller than you may expect, as shown in the picture with bananas for scale. Additionally, the machine beeps annoyingly whenever any setting is changed. If you try to change the temp from 95 to 158, it will loudly beep 7 times. Once the timer is up, it will beep and keep beeping until you turn it off.

This is the first time I’ve ever used a dehydrator. I got it to make healthy pet treats, and also people treats. I absolutely love how tiny it is, I was looking for something very small. So far I’ve made beef jerky for my dogs and cats, (both loved them) I also made homemade fruit roll ups aka fruit leathers, and everything came out perfect. I ordered the silicone dehydrator mats for keeping the shelves clean. I bought a pack and cut the down, and they worked great, and are easy to clean. We are very happy with this dehydrator. ðŸ‘🙂

This is basic dehydrator. No bells no timer. Very small print on settings. However, I love the fact the trays can be either high or low. Simple design. Did the job for herbs and black walnut husks.

Me gustó mucho, lo utilizo para mis galletas, es pequeño pero le caben unas 4-6 galletas como de 9cm aprox. Es mi primer deshidratador por lo que no puedo hacer una comparación con otros productos, pero este es de buena calidad con referencia al precio, es accesible. El cuerpo por fuera es de plástico pero se mira resistente, me gusta que sus rejillas son de acero inoxidable. La verdad si lo recomiendo. Solo tuve detalle con la entrega ya que diario me contactaba un mensajero diferente según para realizar mi entrega pero nunca llegaban hasta que los reporte. Pero en cuanto al producto me encantó! Además es fácil de guardar como es pequeño no estorba. Es súper práctico, lo guardo en su cajita siempre. No sé si gaste mucha luz porque no ha llegado mi recibo jaja pero no creo que gaste mucho. Me permitiré avanzar más rápido la producción de mis galletas decoradas. La temperatura más alta es 158’F y la menor 95’F. Dura máximo 24hrs y mÃnimo 1hr, no es muy ruidoso solo se escucha un poco el ventilador pero nada incómodo suena igual que la microondas. Y es bonito, la verdad. Ojalá me dure mucho!!

I would have given this item a 5+☆ rating but it does not have a timer. I work 12hr shifts and use this for making snakes for my lunches and I either have to wake up early to shut it off before I dry out my items too much or stay up late to start it...or take the chance and lower the level of heat and "hope I guessed right for the normal time it would run over night. But I have been very pleased at how easy it is to use and 75-80% of the items have come out amazing. Great starter unit if you didn't want to spend several hundred on an upgraded model.

Puede secar carne aunque depende mucho de las condiciones ambientales, del grueso y de la preparación de la carne. Me gustó mucho que fue fácil de usar y de limpiar. Los materiales son de buena calidad y se nota que es un equipo resistente si bien la calidad es media, hay aparatos de mejor calidad pero que aumentan su precio. La relación calidad-precio, es buena. Quizás un punto malo serÃa el tamaño pero se especifica que el aparato es para uso doméstico. Super recomendable si solo se quiere para uso personal. Funcionó muy bien a pensar de que el ambiente estaba frÃo donde vivo.
