We have these in our home, cars, and motorhome. For many years we have had fire extinguishers, but when we saw how effective these were, we bought them! Easy to use, reusable, and they don't leave a mess to clean up. We bought enough to give as presents to all of our loved ones, too. With the strong hooks we bought to go with them, they are convenient and ready to use. The videos were helpful to show everyone how to use them. Aclot easier to figure out in an emergency.

I got these for 'Christmas gifts. I like the idea of them but haven't had a fire to test them. I hope they work. If the need ever arises and they put the small fire out or to wrap a small child or pet in to get them out of a fire...they would be priceless.

I wanted a fire blanket that was not made of fiberglass. Hopefully this will work if I ever need it.

I got these to use in my workshop as part of a multi-prong fire suppression system, to include a CO2 extinguisher, sand, and water. I have these placed and the bag secured next to the most likely item to cause a fire, but easy to access from anywhere. I appreciate the bright red bag so it is easy to see and remember in an emergency. I’ve not pulled them out, but did look at them inside the bag and they seem to be good quality.

These fire blankets are such a great idea for any kitchen. We put one in our kitchen and one in our RV kitchen. I feel like they are much better than a fire extinguisher (even though we have both) because they do not get out dated and they are very simple to use for all ages. My daughter in law had a small toaster oven fire in her kitchen and used her small home fire extinguisher on it and she was cleaning the powder that came out for weeks afterwards. She literally sprayer it for a few seconds and the spray ended up everywhere even inside cabinets. This blanket, as long as it works as well on a fire, would have been much easier and cleaner. I thankfully have not been able to test out the blanket as we have not had a fire and hopefully never will but i sure like being prepared. I plan to buy one for all of my grown kids for their houses as a christmas gift this year….leave it to a mom to be practical….

Suggested for car, kitchen, shop, garage, bed rooms, shed, barn, grilling area, etc. Also a good gift for those you care about. These blankets are a good reusable alternative to fire extinguishers for smaller fires. Also they will not create the collateral mess a fire extinguisher creates. I hope I never have the opportunity though to say exactly how well this does work.

Hopefully we won't ever need to try this but it's nice to know that we have another option to help against a fire. I've included pics showing the size next to a large work jacket. When unfolded, the fire blanket covers the jacket. It's not big enough to wrap an adult in, but it should be for a smaller child. The product is described as being made of 100% fiberglass but there is no poking/itching coming off of it. It feels smooth to the touch, almost like a plastic/nylon. We live in an "under construction" tiny home temporarily and we have a double front door. When we open our front door, we are confronted with another front door about 4 foot in front of us across a small hallway. If there is ever a fire in our outside hallway, we would be trapped inside the tiny home as there are no windows in the inner portion. Currently, we keep two 1-gallon size water jugs next to the inner door and we will also have this blanket hanging. Plan is to drench ourselves in water, throw this cover over my wife's head and back and try to make it out the front. Not the most ideal, but it's a chance. Hopefully, we will be out of this tiny house soon. This fire blanket would be perfect to keep in a kitchen area to cover a stove grease fire or even next to the BBQ grill to help with any type of emergency fire. Another use would be for welding. I do a lot of welding in the country, and this would be a decent size to cover anything that I don't want catching fire. I haven't actually tested the fire rating and I have to really trust that it would work when needed but overall, it's cheap insurance in case of a fire. We have extinguishers all over the place and this is just another option to have. I will update my review should anything change or if we should ever need to use it.
