I ordered this kind of on a whim without reading much detail about it, based on a YouTube video I saw it mentioned in (very briefly). If you're like me in that you really enjoy simple but exceptional quality design and implementation, this product is worth twice the price. Even down to the fact they leave the interior unglazed so that it helps keep your salt from clumping. I have large hands and can reach in without any problems. The list goes on. Thoughtful design and extreme quality on a simple item that somehow makes my work in the kitchen 100% more enjoyable and efficient. Yeah, this sounds like an advertisement, and a bit overwrought for something this simple and seemingly unimportant. But it comes from a genuine place.

Perfect in every way. My Maldon salt is easy to access from this salt pig, and it keeps my salt from clumping. I love the simplicity and the beauty of this salt pig. The color is gorgeous and the shape is both pleasing to the eye and perfectly functional. Expensive but worth it!

Looks wonderful, feels well made, the hole is plenty big for my hand to grab Kosher salt. Looks great with my Fletcher Mill's Tronco pepper grinder!

The Chef of the family was looking for a salt pig while cooking. I looked at many and decided on this one due to the size of the opening big enough for a hand. It’s also very well made and looks great.

I feel super fancy each time I use my beautiful Salt Pig. Super convenient and pleasing to my eyes. A little pricey for a salt holder but it makes cooking so much easier and hey, you only live once right?

If you're shopping for the blue flame color option, do not purchase. the item I received is more a slate grey-blue color that is muddy and dull compared to the vibrant turquoise color shown in the photo. I returned the salt pig.

This is great to leave beside the cooker for when you need to add a little pinch of salt when cooking.Good size and easy to get your hand into.Looks really nice and is a good weight/quality product.
