This is a great grinder. You have to remember that it is painted wood. If you plan on dropping it or getting wet, you should get the stainless steel version. Also you need to use the size of salt that is recommended for this grinder. One thing to note, if I dial the grind size smaller. I will make sure there are no grains between the burrs . I just turn the grinder upside down and give it a spin to clear it out. I could see how tightening the burrs while filled could create a problem. I think Peugeot uses a softer steel on these for corrosion resistance. It looks great and it’s made in France.

Attractive grinder that matches an older black pepper grinder, but that is no longer available. Appropriate, however, that the salt one is white and the older pepper one is black -- no mixing them up. One important thing is sea salt will eventually cause an issue with the mechanism, but large salt grains such as Himalayan will work. Easily refillable, adjustable grind.

I typically have liked this line of products in the past but was a little disappointed in this one. It does require rock salt to use properly and only really works past the third setting.

This product has multiple problems. The salt grinder mechanism quickly becomes clogged with salt dust and there is no way to clean it. This severely restricts the grinder’s ability to function. I used appropriate grinding salt made for this type of grinder and not, for example, moist salt.Further, the lacquer paint, especially on the grinder selection ring at the bottom, quickly begins to crack and peal, making the grinder look unpresentable.I paid a premium for this product based on the idea that it was a quality product with a lengthy warranty by a reputable company. At least in the US, the touted warranty is effectively worthless - there is no actual method for obtaining warranty service or making a claim. I have made multiple attempts to contact Peugeot customer service regarding service, but they have never responded to my various emails. Other than providing an email address for customer service (to which they apparently do not respond), there is absolutely no information regarding how to make a warranty claim (even though the warranty is referenced on the website.).I will need to replace this product - however, I will not buy Peugeot again.

Finally, a salt mill that works, thank you Peugeot and thank you Amazon. Has a precise multi-grind selection on the bottom of the mill, whereas most spice mills use the nut on the top for selecting grind size. Nice looking exterior too, made with Beechwood finished with a matte white, I believe. Might be just plain white or a lacquer white, but still terrific.

There is not any possibility to review the delivery (not the product as such). So here we go. This one seemed to be used. But since it was short of time no refund was made. Did clean it up and it looks ok. BUT it is not OK to deliver a product claimed as new but it was not.The product seems solid though.

Snygg kvarn av hög kvalitet. Bra att en kan välja själv hur fin-/grovmalet saltet ska bli. Dock skulle jag vilja ha det ännu mer grovmalet.
