It’s as described but I made the mistake of ordering it when my ironing board is 53†long. This is 49†long and the drawstring tightens to a smaller size. It’s fine if you’re looking for a cute, cheap cover. Just double check the size you need. The mistake was mine but don’t make the same mistake!

Beautiful! Heavy elastic all around, plus Velcro cross straps underneath to keep it secure. Padded like crazy. Plus a silicone iron rest and pressing cloth. Sooo worth it!

I bought an ironing board from Family Dollar and I didn't realize it wasn't standard size. It's 39 inches long. This cover fits. I returned the cover from Walmart and I love this one. I had to pull the string a lot but no alterations were needed. I was getting desperate. I took my old cover off and tried to wash it and it ripped so this came right in time. I did not need straps. I am able to iron smoothly.

While long enough to fit the 48â€, the cover BARELY even covers the sides of my 18†ironing board, so that was frustrating. The cover is pretty, but contains not an iota of padding. Also, the drawstring doesn’t really work very well since the cover didn’t wrap around the sides. I will be looking for another cover from a different manufacturer but since I needed one today, I can’t just ship it back for a refund. I am very UNHAPPY with Amazon and the false information on products. I cancelled my subscription once. and am thinking about starting the new year by cancelling again.

I recently purchased the Encasa Ironing Board Cover (18 x 49 inch) and I am extremely impressed with its quality and performance. I really like the fabric that this is made from, and it's pretty easy to install. I did, however, install it over my old one for just a little more padding. I'm a quilter, and have recently made thousands of face masks, so it was really overworked and worn down, so I replaced it with this fun one! What I do not like is that the end of the drawstring that you need to pull on and secure is at the front of the ironing board where it gets thinner and you would iron a sleeve, etc. I think it might be in the way if you do that kind of stuff, but I'm not much of an ironer when it comes to clothing.....I also think that the drawstring is pretty flimsy, and think it will break sooner rather than later. The old cover I have has elastic and the drawstring, so that was a better idea, plus that drawstring was not only thicker and has lasted close to 20 years, but it tied at the back end of the board, which is a better idea. I also did not know what to do with all the extra string leftover and hanging down........I'm not wanting to cut it off because i may need to tug on it later and need it there. I was able to find a way to weave it in and out under the board, but that's not optimal.All in all, it's a pretty good deal for the money, and the fabric seems sturdy and the padding is pretty thick.UPDATE 5/6/2020. So much for scorch resistant. My old one didn't even look like this after about 20 years, and this one does after about a week. I'm constantly having to tighten the draw string. It's very annoying. I guess I'll have to figure something out with elastic for it to work better. Honestly, I'd return, but for the price, and knowing not much available will be any better, I'll just keep it until it's completely destroyed in a month or 2 then make my own.UPDATE TO THE UPDATE 5/20/2020. The entire top is now scorched and I am the not-so-proud owner of a brown ironing board cover. Don't buy this junk.

Assez mince pour que j’aie du garder mon ancienne en dessous pour faire une bonne épaisseur. Et n’épouse pas bien les contours de la planche. Très ordinaire.
