These are handy to use. Would have liked the handle to be a bit wider for my fingers but it works. The opening is tight but may loosen after continued use. I have attached images showing how wide each 1 opens. Economical purchase compared to other options seen.

I have used this design tongs before and they work quite well. But these I took out of the package to wash and one broke as soon as I squeezed the handles. Hmm... not good at all. I didn't bother even washing them. They were returned the very next day.

Like everyone else says, the holes that allow your fingers to slip through the handles are way too small. I don't have particularly big hands and my fingers just about fit, which makes these incredibly uncomfortable to use.They also started rusting the first time I washed them. For the price they're okay but I wish there were better alternatives on Amazon.

The small one was manageable so I kept it instead of returning otherwise I'd have sent it back. The gas & time wasn't worth returning so I paid for 3 but can really only use one because the bigger ones are too difficult to open and Close & hurt my hand. I'm in good shape, 47yrs old so I'm not some arthritic weakling...it's just not easy to use and I don't want to fight my utensils when trying to cook....
