I bought this to chip slag while welding and I have been blown away. The build quality is top notch and you hear a pretty metallic *ding* every-time you strike it. Reminding you it’s a solid, well built, forged hammer. Both ends are sharpened and keep their edge. You obviously don’t need this one over a normal chipping hammer, but you’ll love it every time.

You see and read lot of good things about this hammer: And when you finally hold it in your hand - you really get what they mean.It's really well balanced, and the weight is just about right (not too heavy and not too light).I really wish this hammer was available in the 🇸🇪 Amazon store, so I also could get it for ~$35. Now it was more like $65 (incl shipping, taxes, etc.)

I bought this as a gift for my son-in-law. It came packaged in heavy duty bubble wrap and my SIL said it was bigger than he expected and was much more heavy duty than one he has. it had a nice grippy material on the handle and was very solidly made. He was impressed.

I’ve used chipping hammers forOver thirty years as a fitter fabricator welder. Eatwing makes a great tool that lasts no wooden handle to shrink in the arid and hot clime of Arizona desert. Minimal maintenance to keep it in prime shape. Three others have bought it just from my using it in the shop.

Der Pickel ist hervorragend verarbeitet und wirklich sehr robust und Abriebsfest. Haben ihn seit einigen Monaten in Verwendung, oft auch verdreckt im feuchten lange liegen lassen. Nix rostet, lediglich ein paar Kratzer, jedoch nicht tief.

J'ai longuement hésité avant de commander ce produit, mais, dès la première prise en main le prix s'efface pour laisser place à la satisfaction, un produit extrêmement massif, robuste, bien construit, je l'utilise comme soudeur projections, décapage etc, mon seul regret est de ne l'avoir pas trouvé plus tôt.

This did a truly outstanding job in the assistance of removing slag during a recent welding project . I thought that the sharp tip would flatten off fairly fast especially with the still fairly hot metal but it held up incredibly well . Very well made and comfortable to use . I was also delighted to see Made in the USA !
