Eureka Mignon

Crono Brew Coffee Grinder

Built on the same Mignon platform as the entry-level Filtro, the Mignon Crono expands on the former's coffee grinding prowess with a discrete timer for one touch grinding. Simply find your ideal pour over or drip coffee grind setting, time how long your dose takes, and set the side-mounted timer knob to match. Each Crono is built in sturdy metal, with hardened 50mm steel burrs and a brew-specific grind path for clump-free dosing.

Excellent improvement to my espresso experience! Replaced my 15 yo Rocky. Consistent grind, easily adjusted, easily cleaned. Very happy with this improvement to my world.

what's not to like, this chrono model has to have espresso burrs to replace factory burrs i can't recommend it as a good value filter grinder. i use another grinder for non-espresso drinks. espresso drinks need a grind that can only be produced by high wattage; low torque motor. alot of people go to hand grinders for espresso, but the drawbacks are that you need to use alot of physical effort for an extended time. for most people that would get old fast. me included. enter the eureka mignon series, all use the same motor and platform. order the espresso burrs and install them if you are experienced in using tools. if you are not comfortable with modifying a 200+ dollar machine then i suggest doing research on the internet and look elsewhere.

It jammed immediately. I opened and cleaned, and it jammed again. I went to You Tube to find out how to adjust the gears. After resetting the gears and feeding a few beans at a time it jammed again. I went to Eureka Customer support and after an exchange of emails this is their response:"Thank you for your feedback. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Your patience is valued as we work to address your concern. The information is not being accepted by the system, and it appears that this product is not one we currently support."A total sham. The coffee grinder is junk.

For the money this grinder is okay. However, its ability to grind 120 grams quickly is not happening. The quality of the grind is acceptable. It just doesn’t grind as much as quickly as I had hoped.

Just threw it away after 2.5 years because the motor burned out. These things should last longer given the price. But, I enjoyed the coffee during that time but grew to hate the mess that I would have to clean up after a few brews. Coffee grounds are poorly contained and grind consistency was sometimes not good. Cleaning helped but really the motor was its biggest weak point as it would jam every so often. Needed more power to handle the finer grinds.

Very well made, easy to repair and makes fantastic espresso if you replace the burrs with espresso burrs.
