This innovative yet simple coffee grinder was a great upgrade from my blade coffee grinder. I am using a Breville Precision brew drip coffee maker and have been desiring a quality burr grinder to pair with it that didn’t cost as much as a professional level coffee grinder to pair with it. I believe I found the perfect match. This grinder uses same design principles as larger pro grinders just on a smaller scale. The hopper is quite innovative as it has a small bean gate built into the bottom to avoid spilling beans during burr cleaning process (which also has a very clear 14 step instruction near back of the manual). The hopper also included a very curious bellows attachment, which is simple but brilliant to help “puff” grinds out of the burrs for cleaning, but I use at the end of grinding to help maintain a clean burr to reduce the required cleaning. The operation of the grinder actually helps me portion the right amount for my coffee maker using the same units as the coffee maker (cups of coffee), which eliminates the need for measurement of beans. I just set for the matching amount of water in my coffee maker, select my grind preference and hit start. It’s so great!Time will tell if this grinder holds up without l breakdown or failure, but for now, I’m really excited about this addition to my coffee station.

Works well. Not too noisy, no issues with static, wide range of grind sizes, doesnt take a lot of space. Very happy with this.

I use this grinder with a Casabrews espresso machine and it works wonderfully. On a good day it can even grind fine enough to choke my machine. There is some static buildup leading to retention, but it’s much less than other grinders in this price range. I spray some water on my beans before I grind them and there’s very little retention. The only downside is that it can be difficult to attach the hopper after cleaning because grounds from the blades can get trapped in the threads, but the included brush helps with that.

I’m just starting my espresso journey, and honestly, this grinder does the job well. As long as you have a bottomless portafilter, it works with most machines. I use a Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista with a bottomless portafilter, this grinder, and a tamper. Once you dial it in (18g of coffee, 25-30 seconds extraction, and 40-45g of espresso out), you’re good to go. This grinder can get fine enough to lock up my machine.I bought this grinder after seeing a review with a video that showed it working perfectly with a similar setup, pulling espresso with crema through a bottomless portafilter. If you’re looking to save money, this grinder is a great option, and with a few other accessories, you’ll be set. It’s not about making the perfect espresso—it’s about making a great espresso, and this grinder can help you get there.

I bought this to replace a Breville Smart Grinder Pro that has developed a bad squeal, perhaps from worn bearings. I only use it for drip coffee with a Technivorm Moccamaster as a have a superautomatic Gaggia for espresso. The grind appears consistent and there is much less/almost no spurious grinds. It even comes with a bellows. And of course the price is good - most others with these features are $200-250.While you can customize the grind time for a cup, the one annoying thing is the shortest time is 3s, which doesn’t let me match the cups on the Moccamaster to the grinder (2.3s would deliver 55g per liter of coffee). So a full 10 cup pot is set to 8 on the grinder, half pot is 4. Sometimes I need to do math if I want to make a different amount.

I love this grinder. It’s my first but man it hits all the marks. It has the ability to use a collection box or attachments for portafilters and dosing Cups. The lid has an added ‘puffer’ to it that allows you to clear out the grinds. Settings can be by number of cups or by a timer. When using a portafilter you can push it in to trigger a grind.I can grind very fine espresso and no issues. Great beginners grinder and intermediate espresso makes will love it too.

We’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but it is fantastic. Powdery expresso grind! The only thing wrong with $900 expresso machine was the grinder. No matter what we did it lost the powdery grind. This made for a very different taste so as a last ditch effort I gambled on this grinder in an effort to restore our once perfect expresso machine. It worked!!! Saved myself $800 and I have top quality coffee for my family again. Just In case I purchased the extended warranty, which I rarely do but for this item I did. Grinders are hard working machines so it makes sense they wear out. For now ours is perfection!

Honest review. Will it grind good enough for an espresso? Sorta, it’s better than all I’ve found under $100 but it’s still not the greatest. We use it four our cheap espresso machines that’s in our camper so it will work for us. Needs to grind finer, we have it at its lowest setting and it’s still not quite enough. But it does make an alright espresso. We have a more expensive espresso machines at home that has a built it grinder so if you are looking for a good one for everyday use, this is not the one. If you are looking for and occasional espresso grinder then this is a good one that won’t brake the bank.
