Love this coffee maker. The stop and serve works great with no leaks, reliable timer, and the grinder works well. It doesn’t quite grind enough in my opinion, so I do 3/4 of a pot and it’s perfect. We did have an issue with ours after 11 months, it stopped brewing coffee. I messaged customer support for ideas to repair it, and instead they sent a brand new unit within a week. Awesome customer service and a great coffee pot.

Advertised as a 12 cup coffee maker. Hole drilled in the back of water reservoir at approximately the 10 cup mark on the decanter. When the hole is plugged and filled to the 12 cup water line on the side of the reservoir, it still fills the decanter to less than than 12 cups. When grinding coffee, apparently there is a door to keep the grounds from going into the filter While grinding, but after the door opens, the grounds are packed so tight into the ground shoot that they do not drop into the filter. On my second attempt to grind the coffee I opened the cleaning hatch for cleaning the ground shoot so I could push the grounds into the filter when the door opened. Apparently the bean grinder uses pressure to turn itself off because the fresh ground coffee came out of the top hatch and kept coming until I was able to block the opening and hold enough pressure to stop the grinder. One glaring problem that I see is that the steam from brewing coffee goes up through the grind shoot and into the grinder and bean reservoir moistening the bottom layer of coffee beans, so they are damp when they get ground up and get stuck in the shoot.Full disclosure, I had brewed several pots of pre-ground coffee through the machine before trying to use the grinder not all at once mind you but approximately one pot a day for four days before trying to use the grinder.Overall, this product is just a bad design. I don’t know what the extra hole in the back of the water reservoir is about if this is just a singular defect in one machine then their quality control sucks if instead, it is actually misrepresented as a 12 cup coffee machine and all of them are sold with this hole then they are just crooks and I question whether this is an actual Kenmore product. Regardless, this product does not deserve to have the elite emblem placed upon it. It’s not even elite adjacent.

This’s a everyday coffee pot with a great grinder, you’ll not regret it if you’re serious about your coffee routine.

This coffee maker is simple to use and easy to clean. It makes 12 cups and keeps the coffee nice and hot. Little chance for the grinder to clog since there are no complicated filter cassettes to hold up the grounds, only a short chute straight from the grinder and down into the filter basket. Two minor complaints: coffee is not strong enough for my taste (like most makers, so that is mainly me), and the beans tend to hang up in the hopper and starve the grinder a bit, giving very weak coffee. Fix the second problem by unscrewing the bean deflector that sits over the grinder and toss it. It works just fine without it! For stronger coffee, I wish manufacturers gave us more control over the grinder settings. Either wider range in the strength settings, or a simple extended grinder-time control to bump the program up by 0-50%. My work-around, when I want to bother, is to use the weakest strength setting and grind twice. To do this you have to fool the controller by unplugging the maker right after the first grind, plug it back in, and restart a new brew cycle.

Pro: having grinder and coffee maker all in one is a huge plus. Eliminates messiness and is very easy to use. It’s also on the smaller side for a combo coffee maker/grinder.Con: If you have small kids napping when you make coffee, this grinder will wake them up. It also makes beeping noises when finishing that are next level noisy. No joke this is LOUD. I had to warn my family every time I started a pot of coffee.I wanted to still love it despite the noise but I just couldn’t get the coffee flavor I was looking for - it took a lot of beans on the “strong†coffee setting and still was pretty weak flavor.

I love, love love this coffee maker! I had this exact coffee maker that I bought from Sears before they went out of business. It lasted for a few years before it quit. I tried to get it again before Sears sold everything out, couldn't get it. I loved it so much, I tried to get it repaired and couldn't. I gave up and bought 2 different ones that are just ok. I was starting to look for a grinder because half way through a container of coffee, it loses it flavor. To my surprise this popped up as a suggestion! I got a "like new" one from Amazon warehouse and couldn't be happier! If this box was ever opened, I couldn't tell, this thing is brand spanking new, works great and all is right with the world, well at least mine for the first hour of the day. It's a bit of a learning curve if you aren't familiar with it, but like I said, I've had it before. When you clean it out for the first it'll leak because there isn't a filter or coffee in there, don't send it back, put coffee in it after the initial cleaning, and it won't leak, also, grind it a little finer than the medium grind, the finer the grand, the more flavorful the coffee because it takes long for the water to run through.Edit: it started to leak really badly, I kind of think that's from the Amazon warehouse fixing it, I could be wrong. It was too far after the return date when I called Amazon, they did credit me $25 which I was happy to receive. I bought a silicone dish drying mat and still use it everyday, it makes a fantastic cup of coffee still, so I'll deal with it until it goes completely out, and would still consider buying it again

Worst coffee maker I ever had. Put beans in hopper, water in and will not start the process. JUNK It takes pushing the start button 2 x's to get the grinder to start. Once the coffee is brewed the heat plate DOES NOT keep the coffee hot it keeps it warm at best. Then auto shut off DOES not shut off in 2 hours its more like 45 min. Very upset with this product.

Easy to operate and clean. Uses a charcoal filter to filter water from reservoir. Easily adjust bean grind and number of brewing cups. Well worth the cost

The make did reasonably good coffee, the bean storage and grind feature were nice too, but I can't give it any points for longevity. Essentially one year to the date after receiving this machine it died. Grinder still worked, would not heat the hot plate or pump water to make coffee. Tried resetting the machine, cleaning the water path and element but nothing. Just died... Too expensive to only get one year out of it.

So disappointed, the coffee maker grinder stopped working after one week. We tried to unplug it to re set, it helped once then it stopped grinding again. The worst feeling in the morning when your coffee is just a dirty water. I thought spending 200$ and good name like Kenmore would not disappoint, quite contrary. If it wasn't for the grinder issue coffee was actually very good.
