Great grinder for making fresh daily coffee. It's well built but the ground coffee bin is not made of anti-static plastic, so ground coffee clings to the container. The grinder settings are accurate and can grind from course to very fine. It is VERY quiet for burr grinder and will not wake the whole house up in the morning. It beans are ground on "fine" setting, it can only do 40 seconds once, if started again for another 40 seconds, the grinder will stop after about 20 seconds and an over-heat indicator "99" will appear on the display. The grinder will be in lock-down until display counts down to zero. (about 5 minutes)This is a great personal grinder for home use, it is not suitable for heavy use or entertaining.

Works great loves the variable size to grind . It works very well the quality is great. The one thing that I initially had trouble with was trying to get the collection container that’s glass out of its position to use the ground coffee. It’s in pretty tightly and was afraid I would break it but once I removed it I was able to do so easily by gripping it. I believe it is in there tightly so no grounds come out while grinding which makes sense

Let's start with I do recommend the product, the grinder has a pleasant sound feels sturdy although it's plastic and the coffee making process feels natural with the timer. It's great for a equivalent drip coffee makers and for office as I use it. Though since I do large batches at its coarsest for the 40 seconds it yields me about 75 grams of coffee and I need 85grams to make my batch which leaves me grinding again for the rest of the coffee. I don't think I recomend for coffee makers such as French presses because it tends to leave clumps of fines since its grind is not consistent, though for it's price can't complaint.

Coffee grinder came used and dirty, still had coffee grounds in it. Do not buy this product!

We liked it so much, we bought our in-laws one. Quiet. Effective. And takes up little space. Very easy to use.

I just recently got this grinder, it is my first electric grinder and the brand seemed decently reputable so I went for it. For the few times I have used it it works great! Put the beans in, set your grind size, set your time and go. Has a nifty little tab that bangs the grounds to the bottom when your done and the grounds come out easy and the grounds bay is easy to clean.My issue comes with the grinder cleaning process itself. This is coming from a more advanced coffee user, so I am more particular on my coffee and keeping my area clean. Getting coffee out of the burrs is IMPOSSIBLE! You can remove the bean hopper and the top burr to clean but your cannot take out the bottom burr, which is where all of the coffee sits after grinding. On my first use, I had to run the grinder 4 additional times after cleaning with the brush and emptying the bay, just to blow out more and more grounds that were stuck. It took forever, like 25 minutes to clean compared to 3 minutes with my manual grinder.This is also meant for grinding 4+ cups of coffee. If you are just making 1-2 cups for yourself then this grinder doesn't make sense for you. I had to constantly smack and jiggle the grinder just to get 25g of beans to grind for myself. If you fill the bean hopper fully then this won't happen.

I am replacing another Shardor grinder CG 835B that the burrs got dull causing it to jam constantly, it was just over 2 years old.in the picture you can sè the courser grind og the CG835 on the bottom of the ground beans container. this was from approximately the same frind setting.This one is much quieter and grinds much finer. The bin it grinds into is smaller but I like that. so Far it is a much better grinder . The only issue I can see is that I could not contact Shardor when I wanted to replace the burrs in my CG835B. so I am worried about customer service in the future. None of their web pages worked.

This grinder works wonderfully! It has the function to grind on many different levels. It’s easy to clean, perfect size for my coffee bar and easy to use!
