I already owned a Furminator deshedding tool, but decided to try this. I actually prefer this rake to the Furminator! My Poodle sheds so very little, but I have difficulty getting through her hair with a comb. I can use this starting with the side with more space between the teeth, then go over her again with the side with less space between the teeth followed by a regular comb. Worked very well for me! This worked wonders on my heavy shedding double coated Goldendoodle. I had a pile of hair in the floor the size of my dog! It must feel very comfortable when being used as they both enjoy being brushed with this undercoat rake.

This is great for getting the under brush of the dog. this is very different than others I’ve had in the past. Great quality.

I have a Maine coon with very sensitive skin. This makes the pull on her fur when brushing a huge problem. I found that spacing the blades further apart causes less pulling and is more comfortable for her. I had a similar brush that had a plastic y handle that recently broke, so I was looking for something sturdier. I would’ve liked to have 2 sides to have a closer set of teeth on the opposite side like I had with my last brush. I couldn’t use the teeth/blades from the other brush because of course they’re designed differently.This brush works and I expect it to hold up well.

I fell in love with this comb from the first time I used it. My beautiful Persian baby enjoys being groomed, but tends to get tangles around his armpits and under his chin. I think these are just friction areas from when he moves, but they're chronic tangle spots that he doesn't like to have brushed during his daily grooming. I hate shaving his hair during the cold of winter, and I also dislike the choppy results you get when cutting tangles out with scissors or clippers shaving it down to the skin. This blade comb is doing a really good job getting under his tangled spots and gradually loosening them up, but give a much softer finish than bluntly cutting tangles or mats out. Plus, he enjoys the extra combing while the tangles get worked out. The blades aren't razor sharp, but they are sharp enough to work through the super fine downy undercoat on his belly. This comb is going to save me from having to shave his tummy before the warmth of summer arrives and I'm pretty happy with it!

I ordered this in X-Large and received it today. I went right out to try it on my 130 pd Labradoodle. It took off a ton of hair without pulling or hurting. I got him done in about 5 minutes which usually takes about an hour.

My dog is so happy with it, this brush is very gentle and makes the brushes comfortable. It really helps shedding and he feels good.
