I use a white pencil for making on dark wood, such as Black Walnut, so I can better see layout lines for cutting. Unfortunately, the pencil is expensive, considering it is a pencil. A whole box of lead pencils cost about the same as just this one single pencil. I am very careful with it, and try to make it last.

Received the pencil and when I tried to use it found out it was an eraser pencil and not the white color pencil described. Submitted a return request, but there is no original packaging.
