These are easy to use. Like all good pastels they make a mess. Which can be cleaned up easily enough. They blend well. These are beautifully colored and not as expensive as some.

My step daughter is in those early teenage years...she loves doing crazy stuff with her hair. :-) So I thought this would be a good, non-permanent solution to her "experimenting".A word of warning though, if you are new to "chalking" It IS messy! You really want gloves and either a towel or make-up cape or something. This will protect your hands from getting "stained" (it doesn't last LONG...but you will have colored fingers for a majority of the day if you don't use gloves)...and the dust from the chalk as you run it through your hair will get on your clothes and may cause issues, probably not "permanent" staining issues,...but enough. So you want them covered.But overall, this a a great set of chalks, a beautiful array of colors, and the perfect size for hair chalking.

I am not sure if I did not see the “mini†in the ad or on the box in the picture but these pastels are quite small, about 1 x 1/4 inch. You will use them up quickly, however, for my purposes they are fine. I wanted to try doing backgrounds in my coloring and I use very little, on a Q tip or as “crumbs†to fill in so they will last me a long time. The box is packed well and could be used to transport the pastels if you are moving from place to place to work. The colors are vivid enough, for my purposes. So the product is good, just smaller than I realized.

This was the first time I've ever used soft pastels. These worked great and I didn't have any trouble using them. The colors are very bright and pigmented. While it's a bit hard to get more natural looking colors, I think it has to do with my limited knowledge of using these. Near the end of my drawing, I felt like I was slowly understanding how to mix and blend colors. The packaging and pastels look exactly as shown in photos. I was prepared for the size as I read previous comments. I didn't mind the size since I bought them to try out a new medium. I think the size is great for beginners that are unsure about using soft pastels. I also found it to be a lot easier to hold and use because of the small size.

O giz é bem macio no papel, fácil de esfumar (usei um esfuminho para isso) e bem pigmentado, veio muito bem embalado, sem nenhum dano e a entrega foi rápida, sim é um giz pequeno (na caixa já está escrito "mini"), mas isso não é um problema, acho até mais prático de usar.
