If your heat/cooling fan only works on the highest setting, you probably need one of these. Worked in my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. Most difficult part of the install was contorting your body to get to it. I recommend getting into truck from driver's side, lay on back across seat, and then slide your upper body off up under the glove box area. Unplug the old one, take out two phillips screws, then put the new one in.

Ac would not blow on certain settings, pretty much only low and high, this part fixed the issue. Ac and heat both blow on all settings now. Takes 2 minutes to swap.2004 ram 5.7

Easy to install, replacing OEM unit on 02 Ram 1500, which only worked on the highest setting. This one still does not work on lowest setting, but that may be something else entirely causing the issue. For the low price this restored function. Installation was two or three easy to get to bolts under the glove box and clip in a wiring harness, then you’re up and running.

Do NOT buy this part. I bought it hoping to avoid paying $50 for one at O’Reilly or AutoZone. I plugged it in and the fan started working for a few seconds and then stopped. When I pulled it out, it had burned out and left a black burn spot on the part. LISTEN TO THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! I took the time to double check it matched my truck, even looking up the OEM/Part number on Dodge’s website and matching it to this description. I can’t believe Amazon still allows this part to be sold on the site. It’s going to start a car fire one day.

Needed to replace this on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 cuz I’d lost all control settings on my Fan Speed Selector Switch except High, This fixed the problem for less than $20 and is only 2 screws and a plug, Took about 10 minutes after cleaning all the leaves and debris from inside the cavern this sits in under the dash on the passenger side. After 20 years it had plenty built up, Now I know to set a piece of paper or cardboard under it before removing it so I catch all the debris and save a few minutes by catching the mess and keeping my floorboards clean. Great replacement part for a Great Price!
