My Tacoma fan was only working on the High blower setting. After a bit of research i discovered that o needed to replace this part. Easy to replace but only issue I ran into was that the splicers that come with it were too small to fit the existing wire into. The wires that come on the part are much thinner diameter and fit the splicers well but the other wires in the truck are thicker and wouldn’t fit in the hole. I didn’t have any other splicers on hand to use so just wound up just doing a regular twist splice and taping. Not best way to do it but was simple enough. Besides that minor setback the part itself was easy to install and fixed the problem.

I installed the resistor and the blower worked on high no matter what dial setting it was on and that lasted for about 24 hours and then it stopped working completely. I ended up having to buy a better one from AutoZone which works fine.

Spent a few hours getting this changed only to realize that the plug is so cheaply made the prongs were all crooked. The plug it came with didn’t work, ended up having to buy an OEM plug. Wired in this new plug and the sensor wasn’t working right either. Look elsewhere.

So far after installing it is working properly.The wires are considerably smaller than the manufacturers.

This product was replaced in October 2023, it broke already in April 2024

Found this fix on a Toyota Tacoma group page. I followed multiple instructions and videos. But now instead of only high working, now only medium works. I confirmed my wiring, but will check back if I get anymore feedback

Installed in a 2012 Toyota tacoma, which amazon claims this product is compatible with. There is a wire on this product that is not properly sized. When I hooked it up, the one cable quickly overheated, melted and began to smoke/burn.I took it into Toyota later to get an OEM replacement, and this product certainly used a thinner guage wire than the OEM.I have brought this incident up with Amazon as it is a safety concern. Nothing done to date aside from hand me off to someone else. this should be removed from Amazon marketplace

Excelente reemplazo, mi aire ya solo encendia en la velocidad mas alta y ahora ya volvio a funcionar perfectamente en todas las velocidades gracias a este sensor.
